redout22
Man Martinez has played some very good ball so far Quote Link to comment
bshirt
I don't know how the radio is painting it, but the D is NOT looking bad on tv. Pursuit is good. Tackling is good. There's a lot of red jerseys around every ball carrier. Thanks Paul.....just on the radio....appreciate it. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Hope Robinson is gonna be okay? Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
Is our offense seriously outplaying our defense???? I have been praying for a balance like this for the last few years...granted it is WKU, but i'm listening!! Quote Link to comment
jamrinelli
Kinnie has two catches already???? Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
Gave up 2 first downs already? No kidding. What is going on? Whoever is watching this on TV, how do they look? Defense looks fast, but then again, we're playing Western Kentucky--and I'm not aware of any blazers on that team. We're just physically much bigger than they are at every position, especially on the lines and it shows. We have at least one guy make a move and get through the line on every play. I think that we might be playing too aggressive on defense, just over-running some things and not playing as fundamentally sound as I think that we could. Gomes got lucky on one play where he got caught looking in the backfield and the QB threw it right over him. I realize that there were two penalties on the play and Gomes ended up breaking up the pass in the WR's hands, but there is still room for improvement--I'm sure that's what we'll hear from Pelini in the post-game, too. MCAT800
The "D" needs to step up. WKU controlled the ball way to long in the 1st Qtr Quote Link to comment
WYHusk
Yeah, on the radio it sound slike the D is yielding. Glad to hear it's not the case. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
It doesn't help the clock control when we can score in less than a minute, it seems. Quote Link to comment
