Husker Mount Rushmore

Personally, we don't have a "Mt Rushmore" yet. We definitely have Devaney and Osborne, but the list pretty much stops there, at least in football. If we wanted to expand it to Nebraska's #2 sport we could put Pettit and Cook up there, but we're not really talking Volleyball, are we?

 

Devaney and Osborne are so much higher than the rest that I don't see putting anyone up there with them - not Solich, not a player, nobody. If Bo sticks around for ten years and has 9-win seasons every year then he'd be up for consideration, but until then, the list ends with those two.

i agree, that is why i said just stick with qb's. TO and Devaney are in a league of their own, so it would be weird to have anyone else with them, and then at the second tier of husker lore, we have so many greats too many would get left out. but if you just stick to qb's, there are four top tier qb's that are on their own; tagge, gill, frazier, and frost. however, if you did all players, there are so many great rb's, defensive players, and qb's. hard to just get four of any group other than qb's.
