Randy Moss told Tom Brady his haircut made him look like a girl

Before he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss got into a catfight with Tom Brady about, all of things, his facial hair.

 

According to Charley Casserly of CBS, Brady and Moss had a verbal altercation before the trade and that the pair had to be separated. During the spat, Brady told his receiver to shave his beard. Moss responded that Brady should cut his hair, because he looks like a girl.

Gentlemen, gentleman; both your follicle-stylings look awful. Brady telling Moss that his hair looks bad is like Creed telling Nickleback that they're lame.. Takes one to know one.

Sure, I could see the trading of barbs over beard/hair taking place. But that had absolutely nothing to do with the trade. Belichick would play an albino hairlip with a nose ring if it would help him win.

You have to feel sorry for the guy who put this "news" out, because he was doing it totally seriously.

 

"You need to trim your beard", Brady says to Moss.

"You look like a girl," Moss says to Brady.

 

That's a couple of buddies joshing around, but Casserly, who puts this out (who also has serious credibility issues with regard to the Patriots), portrays this as some sort of tense locker room showdown between two people with genuinely harsh feelings towards each other. Are you kiddin' me?

 

Brady came out later and actually said, "He never made fun of my hair." For what that's worth.

 

He's also past "Justin Bieber" territory and heading straight towards "Ponytail."

Charlie Casserly doesn’t know lockerroom smack when he hears it. And isn’t exactly an authority on hair. Casserly has a hair helmet that would make Jimmy Johnson proud.
