BigWillie
I think Gilmore or Cotton deserve a promotion if one of our coaches head to Minnesota. Both deserve a promotion - maybe co-OC's? Sad reality is, if Watson leaves, Barney will be one of the top candidates for OC. But I'm thinking Minny was here for Carl, so I doubt it matters. Quote Link to comment
HuskersNow
So if Minnesota hires Carl, then does Sanders become the DC? Also, who would Nebraska hire to be the defensive line coach? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
How tough a loss would Carl be? Hopefully we keep it in the family. If Carl goes somewhere, hopefully it's farther away. Carl would make sense. Very unfortunate for Kevin Cosgrove, you got to feel for the guy, if he's always getting replaced by Pelinis. Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
this discussion is also on a Gopher Board Most of them stating U of M doesn't even own a plane. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Actually, I think I was wrong on the model of the plane. Did a little more digging and it may be a Hawker Beechcraft Corp B300. My mistake. Quote Link to comment

I do find it kinda weird that the if you look on Journal Star or OWH websites theirs not even a sniff about this on their. Me thinks this will go away quickly. Quote Link to comment

Besides theirs nothing that wows me about that plane, it just got a gopher sticker on it. Not likes its painted up in Minnesota Gopher colors. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Coaches use them to fly for recruiting purposes, not recruits. Quote Link to comment

Was not talking about flying recruits in on private planes, but flying coaches out to visit recruits for in-homes, school visits, scouting practices, etc., Quote Link to comment

Sparker
As the gophers pointed out, anybody can slap a gopher sticker on their aircraft. A king air doesn't really strike me as a university owned aircraft. It's possible, but I would bet it's a doctor. 110% of king airs are owned by doctors. Quote Link to comment
