buffh8r
Since we lost to Texas and Texas lost to Iowa State, does that mean Iowa State is better than the Huskers? Quote Link to comment
Sparker
They beat us last year, and beat a team who beat us this year. Logic would determine they are indeed better than us. Quote Link to comment
Malth
How embarrasing is it that all these sh**ty teams are beating Texas, yet when they show up in Lincoln they make us look like fools f#*k YOU TEXAS Quote Link to comment
TripleOption
It does sting. I thought about rooting for UT to pull it out for a minute because of this, and then I came to senses and realized that I was hoping that they lost every remaining game on their schedule. So long and good riddance, Big 12. Quote Link to comment
Sparker
Until we played them this year, I felt like that as well. Something changed after they beat us again. Knowing we will not play them again for a long time.... I don't give half a rip about UT anymore. I used to get joy out of knowing they lost, but seeing them lose to ISU i really had no feeling about them, just that it is lame ISU beats them and we don't. I don't think I hate Texas anymore. Cyclone Sloup
Regardless of the outcome the Mizzou @ Nebraska game next week, all eyes will be on Ames on November 6th. Two teams that want and need to make a statement in a fight towards the top of the division. At this point, just about anybody could win the North. Nebraska and Mizzou are the obvious contenders, but Iowa State is diving into its North play (minus K-State) with a victory at Texas, and Bill Snyder is too wily to count him out just yet. Iowa State lost to Kansas State. Nebraska beat Kansas State. Therefore Nebraska is better than Iowa State Quote Link to comment
Sparker
Nebraska beat Kansas State who beat Iowa State who beat Texas who beat Nebraska who beat Kansas State who... beat UCLA who beat Texas who beat Nebraska. So... K-State beat two of the teams that beat Texas. That's interesting. Quote Link to comment
