New (and old) Tron movie

Recommended Posts

Anyone planning on going to see this? The reviews for it have been mixed and mostly mediocre, no big surprise there. I wasn't old enough to actually experience the first one, but I have seen it several times in the last few years. I really enjoy it, it has worse dialogue than any Star Wars movie could dream of and the story is pretty garbage too, but I appreciate what it brought to the table at the time.

That said I'm excited for the new one. Call it a guilty pleasure.

I'll probably be seeing it this weekend. Honestly I think the biggest draw is visually for me since it's in 3D. I liked the first Tron movie.

Already have tickets for it at Warren theater. If you haven't heard of it, it has a balcony with oversized heated seats that only 21 yrs or older can be in because they serve liquor. Oh yeah, I will be giving my reviews late sat night or sun afternoon ( more likely the latter).

I want to watch movies where you live. I don't go to a whole lot of movies because it doesn't matter if I go during the weekends or a Tuesday, there's always some jackass(es) talking throughout the movie or whipping out their cell phone.

Where is this theater you speak of?

I live in Oklahoma city. Also if someone brings a cell phone out or being disruptive, you hit a button, a waitress comes out and all you have to do is point and they escort that person out with no refund. I love it, even if it dies cost $18 a ticket.

Watched it and am glad that I did in the theater. It was a very good movie. Alittle disappointed in part of the end, but still give it a 4.7 out of 5.

And alittle about myself, I am a hard critique, I liked only 3 movies this year that came out (including Tron).

I liked it quite a bit as well. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen by any stretch, but it was really, really good at what it was supposed to be. Didn't care much for the uncanny valley type of feeling staring at C.L.U though.

P.S. - The soundtrack by Daft Punk is absurdly good.
