Taylor, Harris and Ross are Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for the first time in their careers. Offensive Player of the Week Zac Taylor, Jr, QB, Nebraska (Norman, Okla.) Zac Taylor connected on 36 of 55 pass attempts for 431 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Huskers' 27-20 double overtime triumph over Iowa State. Taylor set Nebraska single-game records for passing yards (431), completions (36) and total offense (433). Defensive Player of the Week Aaron Harris, Sr., LB, Texas (Mesquite, Texas) Facing a Missouri offense that was averaging 553.7 yards and 43.7 points per game, Aaron Harris led a Longhorns' defensive effort that held the Tigers to 330 yards and 20 points in a 51-20 road win. Harris set up UT's first touchdown with an interception and 30-yard return. He also tallied a team-high 11 tackles (9 solo), two TFLs and a sack. Special Teams Player of the Week Aaron Ross, Jr, PR, Texas (Tyler, Texas) Aaron Ross totaled 129 punt return yards for Texas in its win over Missouri.
