But some publishers want some aspect of that included in every game to try to create a revenue stream with DLC packs, Subs, or Microtransactions. They just need to focus on it being a good game. Skyrim has no multiplayer at all. And CivV is primarily a single player. And both are consistently in the Steam top 10 played, and purchased. And are both over a year old. Quote Link to comment

You guessed wrong. Unfortunately, the majority of TOR's stories are trite, cliched, and just poor writing in general. Add to that the ridiculous amount of money and time spent on voice acting that is hit and miss at best (which is being very kind), to the extent of much of the rest of the game being neglected, and it's a total joke.
