knapplc
Punxsutawney Phil: 6 more weeks of winter Famed groundhog prognosticator Punxsutawney Phil has weighed in with his yearly forecast from central Pennsylvania: Six more weeks of winter. Here's Phil's forecast, as relayed at the annual ceremony: "Many shadows do I see: six more weeks of winter it must be." The pronouncement brought groans from the thousands of people gathered for the annual event at Gobbler's Knob, the tiny hill in Punxsutawney, which is about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. GSG
Well "Staten Island Chuck" did NOT see his shadow, and we all know that the universe revolves around New York, so I'm going with Chuck. But in local news, Reggie the Marmot (marmot is a relative of the groundhog) saw his shadow out here in Scottsbluff today, so we're screwed. Supposed to be about a foot of snow tonight. knapplc
I've heard rumors of an entity called Unadilla Bill. Anyone know if Bill prognosticated this year, and if so, what he saw? Quote Link to comment
