Kudos to Mitt Romney for providing the model for Obamacare. Perfect, it's not. Better than the status quo? Yeah. Absolutely.

I like the way leftists applaud Romneycare but ridicule Mitt for wearing the funny underwear. I think he and Deval Patrick are both wrong. BTW, does Romneycare pay for porn, tattoos, and bail?

The two are not connected, methinks.

I agree, but the same people who ridicule his Mormomism love the fact that he is the father of Romneycare.

Using the broadest of brushes.

Which shows . . . what . . . exactly?

Yos, you're the one asserting that those are inconsistent. Therefore, you have the burden of explaining why they are inconsistent. I won't be baited into making your argument for you.

You're pretending to be confused and stupid again...right?

I believe that if you love Romney for Obamacare, you shouldn't care about his wearing funny underwear. That's all the time I can spend on explaining the inconsistentcy. I'm not getting paid to do this. :D

I'm a little late to the party - to be honest, health care doesn't directly affect me and I won't be paying for my own health care until next year at the earliest. But, from what I've read and seen about Obamacare, I just can't see how it is a good plan for the extended future.

Two thirds of doctors are considering cutting government funded insurance programs because costs are too high and reimbursement too low. New taxes and regulations will force companies to spend more money, resulting in job loss. The list goes on. Sure, people who can't afford health insurance will get it. I've also read on USA Today that the program will force 18 million people to go onto Medicaid, but that millions will remain uninsured. It reasons that our overall healthcare quality will suffer, no?

Now, correct me if I'm wrong while I'm working this out. People with private insurance who won't be directly paying a tax to support public health care are still going to be indirectly paying because the government will be leaching from other tax revenues. Yes?

Sadly, yes, it does. You may not know it, but it does. Speaking as a guy who nearly lost his wife to cancer and did lose his mother to cancer, you do not know that it won't affect you. Both cancers came from out of the blue. Both were severe, affecting what appeared to be very healthy ladies.

You simply do not know. Don't take it for granted, man. It really, really affects you.
