zoogs
I think so. They have a solid, perhaps more two-dimensional backup in Devin Gardner, right? Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
uh, I'm not sure I don't bench peyton manning if he has 5 picks. That's ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
husker_hurdler
It pains me to say this......but I agree with Mark May on this one. DRob needs to get out in space...he is not a pocket passer-which is what they tried to do versus ND. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
In our game with Michigan last year, in that first half and before we broke down, the announcer - I think it was Gruden - was calling for Michigan to put Gardner in. D-Rob is an exciting player, but until he becomes a more complete quarterback, he will always be prone to become somewhat of a liability at times. You can't have that at the QB position. jsneb83
I thought Gardner moved to receiver. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
He played poor. But he wasn't in a position to be successful, and that falls on the OC Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
No. It's not Robinson's fault that he is being utilized in a way that makes him horrible. Just listen to what Mark May says about him. You've GOT TO get Shoelace in a scheme where he can use his legs. Michigan tries to use him in a pro style attack too much, and it doesn't fit his skill set at all. Quote Link to comment
MichiganMan
I think so. They have a solid, perhaps more two-dimensional backup in Devin Gardner, right? Devin Garnder moved to WR. hes 6'3'' and can out jump anyone. We have a redshirt freshmen QB named Bellamy that shined in the spring game passing. Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
I'm surprised Gardner doesn't transfer to the U of Arizona. He was recruited to run the spread option. Quote Link to comment
