Why so much fluff teams?

What, no response? Don't you want to discuss things with us anymore? That's unfriendly.

A guy spends ten years living in Omaha before moving off to Kentucky, then starts a thread to talk about Husker football, the trolling takes a little different turn than he expected, and suddenly we're done talking?

Don't you want to discuss your latest favorite article from the Christian Science Monitor?

Don't you want to talk about how to keep your PC virus free? By the way - you still using XP or did you upgrade?

C'mon, Chuckles. Let's chat.

No, your too good....your real good. The best i have seen, really every board needs 2 mods like you.

So this is what SEC fans do when they get bored.

Why jealous of the SEC?? Its the best college football conference ever by far!! Dont you like good college football??

I'm not jealous of the SEC. I'm jealous of the cleverness with which you make your point. I'm jealous of the ultra-cool username you came up with. I'm jealous of your Baldessarini Del Mar Deodorant, which smells faintly of bluegrass and desperation. I'm jealous of your willingness to waste your time in a futile effort to troll these boards.

Then why so much hate on the SEC??

Well, also remember that Michigan was ranked in the Top 10, so you can't fault Bama for that. Last year LSU played Oregon to open the season, and next year they play TCU to open the season. Boise always plays a good team at the beginning. So while I agree that it's necessary to schedule some lower-level competition in order to get some practice in and hopefully avoid injuries, I do think it would be nice to schedule a top-tier opponent once in a while. I think playing Miami and Tennessee in upcoming years will be nice; I am certainly looking forward to the trips to Knoxville and Miami.

We schedule our big boy series 8-10 years out. Nothing we can do if the opponent takes a nose dive.

True....True....i mean UCLA is known for being a big boy. What about future big boys....UCONN?? Maryland??

So if we were to schedule Oregon, 'Bama, Fla St, and Texas as our non-con's, that would make people STFU?

I think the OP is a prime example of a crapass education system, or he's played too much NCAA11...

Come on why does it have to be one extreme? Do you play NCAA?

I dont freak out if we lose a game or go 8-4, sure i would like 12-0 but thats hard even when teams cheat.

I dont like the lower division games every year. I think 4 noncon games are too many. If the Big10 goes to 9 conference games and then we played 1 low tier...1 mid level like UCLA and 1 top tier team i would be more than happy. The SEC playing so many lower division teams is a joke.

Ok so if we had to play two teams that were in the "top 50" of college programs, you'd be happy?

Would be better if we stopped playing the lower division teams, Arky state is enough.

2 top 50 teams with Arky state in a 3 game noncon would not be bad as it would add someone like Purdue to the schedule.

1 top 50 team with Arky state, S.Miss and a lower division team replacing another conference opponent looks like most SEC schedules which is pretty bad.

When the 12 game seasons started it just added a lower division game to most teams schedule...Lol. So i guess its easier to get 9 wins a season now.

You forget, Boise was that fluff team until they decided to pull something out of their a$%.

By lower level teams do you mean Arky st. And So Miss, who both were conference champions last year and finished in the top 25? Those low level teams? With schedules made so far in advance we should feel damn lucky we didn't get those two last year! Is that you Seriously? ?

you didn't answer my question...

Are the 2 top 50 teams San Jose St and Tulsa along with a sunbelt and a lower division team?

or would it be Georgia and Cincinnati with S.Miss and no lower division??
