Chatelain hits the nail on the head with three sentences

I'm not surprised that I disagree completely with Dirk. He starts out by stating that we had high expectations for this team that everyone knew had major deficiencies on defense and says we got sucker-punched. Huh??? Did he just stop by to check out Nebraska on his way to New York or California?

 

If anything, the team overachieved in many areas. We started the year a defensive mess, getting trounced by UCLA, making adjustments and finally putting together an unexpected winning streak at the end. Did anyone have higher expectations coming into the year than what the team actually achieved? How about the loss of Burkhead for most of the season....did anyone see that as a good thing?

 

I have issues with many things that are going on, but I'd say Dirk just likes to take generalized shots at Bo and doesn't appear to be much of a sports reporter. Maybe he'd be better in the civil rights section?
