Comish
A (very) small opportunity for us to surprise today. Illinois won't be taking us very seriously and IF Ray could find his zone and Talley continues to penetrate, I could see us hanging around for a late shot. But, probably not. (unless their threes are not falling) Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
It's all about guarding the perimeter and getting other players involved in the offense. Both of which, Talley does not do very well. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Apparently it's senior day for Illinois. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
7-0 run for Big Red early. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
"Gallegos is a lights out shooter" who makes 29% of his threes. Hopefully he can turn it around tonight. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Not sure why Ubel didn't drive that instead of taking the long two Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
NU up 9-6 at the first media timeout, on a 7-1 run. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Nice work attacking the basket by Ubel and Talley. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Talley playing with energy today. Nice drive to the bucket and a near steal on the ensuing possession. Shields got lost in his zone, though. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Not a good scoring pace for the Huskers... Quote Link to comment
