EbylHusker Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 So the officer was injured in the car chase (the vehicle that was carjacked from the gas station). That's where the explosive devices were thrown from the car at the pursuing officers. During that exchange of gunfire, Suspect 1 was also struck. They said he was taken into custody, so I assume he didn't die instantly. But he is dead now. Edit - Wounded officer is in critical condition at the hospital. Link to comment

EbylHusker Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 A long while back after the car chase as this was heading into the neighborhoods, they reported on the scanner someone had been hit by a car. I can only assume that was during the car chase and was probably someone not involved and just in the wrong place. Total speculation, though. Haven't heard anything about the person supposedly hit by the car since (which is understandable). Link to comment

Supposedly two suspects seen going in and out of it at some point (presumably in the past before all this). 475 Arsenal Ct. reports of someone carrying a backpack along with a couple other bits I missed.
