Obviously, I hope Darlington makes a full recovery and becomes a star for the Huskers in the future. I think he is a very good talent. And, I believe Bo did the right thing by telling him his scholarship is still good. That makes me proud to be a Husker fan.

 

However, with this injury, does the coaching staff recruit another QB in this class just in case?

 

I really hope Zach does what is best for him. Personally, I can't imagine him playing after HS with the injuries he has had. It simply isn't worth the risk in my book. But, ultimately, that will be up to him, his parents and his doctors.

After this year we will only have Armstrong and Stanton. One gets injured and we have no backup. We do need a third. Hopefully it's a healthy Darlington.

Sounding pretty positive on Darlington's status. Perhaps not playing for awhile but it doesn't sound at this point that it's career-ending. I think we're good here.
