SouthLincoln Husker
That would be nice but what kind of shape would he be in? Sounds like he is lifting and that they were mainly worried about him cutting & jumping. With 3 more months to go, he will probably get some running in before January. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Comebacks from torn anterior cruciate ligaments usually range from six months to a year. Smith is at 5½ months. Nebraska, in desperate need of more inside presence, hopes this recovery comes in on the low end. “I think he’s about three weeks away,” NU coach Tim Miles said. Smith, in an interview Wednesday at the team’s Waikiki Beach hotel, was more optimistic. “The way I feel, I think I could come back earlier than expected,” he said. “We’re just putting my body through different things to see how it feels. Right now I have to stay warm so it doesn’t get stiff. “Still, I feel day to day. But we’re shooting for mid- to late-January.” OWH Quote Link to comment

Team sorely needs an inside presence right now Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Will be interesting to see how quickly he gets up to speed. We play at Wisconsin three weeks from today. Although we need a LOT of players to be playing a lot better before Smith will make much of a difference in that game. Quote Link to comment

True that more players need to step up but we sorely need a big guy Quote Link to comment
