TF wasn't the solo act folks think.

Who would think TF was a solo act? Look at our NFL draft picks by year. The offensive line didn't give up a sack TFs senior year.

 

IMO, when folks think of that great run, they think of TF. He was the "face" of the huskers then. I think some of the other greats of that era get lost in the memories of TF.

I guess I just don't agree at all, which is fine. I can name you damn near every single player on those teams, on both sides of the ball. There's a reason those teams are voted amongst the best TEAMS to ever play the game of college football. I don't lose any memories of those guys surrounding Tommie. Not at all. He was great, probably the best, but so were about 15 other guys on those teams. Especially that 94-95 team.
