default_28
When I saw the title of the thread I read it as you saying he was a great former Husker. So, when I saw it was Nick Pavendo I thought, 'his opinion of great is very generous.' Then I read it again and understood you were being facetious. Quote Link to comment

hastingshusker
Thunder, LP, now this guy. This is the ONLY way those 3 will be mentioned in the same sentence. Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
I don't think anybody had even heard of this guy until this came up. Kind of a shame that somebody whose name very few Husker fans would've recognized before this happened was linked to a murder and suddenly he's known as a former Husker... 2 Quote Link to comment
Flood
Crazy. Saw the headline and was certain this was part of the Waco thing. That town is either completely nuts or can't catch a break. I haven't been there, but just seeing the word Waco conjures up some kind of Cormac Mccarthy nightmare dreamscape for me. This guy, never heard of him. I always wonder about the minds of these types. I cannot imagine ever killing someone in anger. Self defense of myself, family or friends--yeah, I get that and could do it. I wouldn't like it and would be mentally messed up for quite a while. But I don't think I could ever be part of a hivemind that went around killing people and tearing things up like these gangster types do. Of course, I like living. And I like living outside a cell, where I can go get a nice steak whenever I want. Sorry for rambling. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
Crazy. Saw the headline and was certain this was part of the Waco thing. Since he was a Bandido I wonder if he was at the Waco thing, rounded up as part of the shootout and then arrested on Monday for the Fort Worth killing. This article doesn't say this but the timing fits http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/crime/article4518813.html This guy, never heard of him. I always wonder about the minds of these types. NUance
Yeah I remember Nick Povendo. Or I remember the name at least. Couldn't have told you what position he played. He was barely a blip on the Husker radar. But now that he's in trouble he's known as a Husker. Welcome to the Husker family, Nick! Quote Link to comment
