Jimmy Carter to undergo radiation for cancer on his brain
Associated Press By KATHLEEN FOODY 6 minutes ago
ATLANTA (AP) — Former President Jimmy Carter announced Thursday that his cancer is on four small spots on his brain and he will immediately begin radiation treatment, saying he is "at ease with whatever comes."
"I'm ready for anything and looking forward to a new adventure," said Carter, appearing upbeat and making jokes as he openly talked about his cancer during a news conference.

Say what you will about Carter, but he's one of the most well respected Americans in the whole world. Over the past three decades he's garnered more trust and respect than any of the then-current U.S. Presidents. Perhaps the most trusted, and most influential, ex president ever. (Well, in modern times anyway.)
He's one of the very few politicians I can think of who is entirely without duplicity.
