It is Wednesday of Game Week!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Recommended Posts

Back in the day, when I lived in Lincoln and went to every home game, and lived and breathed for Husker football, I was unbearable after a loss (though they were seldom). I would leave the newpapers on the porch and be a miserable wreck until Wednesday. Wednesday was the day I'd turn from the loss and get back up on that Koolaid swilling tower and look forward whole heartedly to the next game.

While I don't get nearly so down after a loss, they do still hurt a little. Regardless, I'd invite all Husker fans here on Huskerboard to just drop the analysis from last week. Put it all aside and focus on the next game. Right now, just for THIS WEEK, our Huskers are undefeated and Saturday's game is the biggest one of the year.

I can't friggin wait for kickoff.

!!!!!!!!!GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely feel the same way, and personally I think things look very promising. I miss Lyle Bremser (sp. for the grammar kops) on the radio and 50 point smack downs.

We have a lot of small things that we need to tighten up with the new organization and all. We need to stay healthy. If those things happen, I think it can be a great year.

I enjoyed BYU game a lot (not the end part). But I'm anxious for this week's game too. What do we know about South Alabama?

Do they have South Alabama speed?

Great QB and passing game?

Go to a bowl game because they won 6 or 7?

I'm all ears for any insightful information

Friend of mine is a huge App State fan. Said they got stomped by them last year, but that was with an NFL caliber QB. Said that we should role them fairly easily this year.
