RADAR
Josh Peterson @joshtweeterson .@NateClouse on Patrick O’Brien: “He’s the most polished QB to come to Nebraska in 10-15 years.” #HuskersHe is basically a five-tool player. Has the size, arm and mental capacity, reads defenses well. One of those players who is coming as ready as any player can be. Thinks he can make a run at the starting QB job. He has the tools and mental capacity to do it. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I realize I'm coming in a bit late to the conversation, but between POB/TA (and, to be fair, any other QB on our roster), I want to know who is going to do a good enough job without turning the ball over. The turnovers, and more broadly the decision making, are just killing Nebraska. TA is averaging something like 1.05 turnovers per game as a college athlete. That's not going to get it done. So, can another QB's ability to protect the ball and make plays outweigh Armstrong's experience and mobility? Can the other quarterbacks, particularly POB, push TA to either make TA better or put themselves in a position to win the job? If they could've cleaned up the turnovers at the QB position this year, they very well could've been a 8 win team, in my opinion. Quote Link to comment
