GSG
Seems a little short to fit into BC's idea of "big bodied" receivers doesn't he?? Quote Link to comment
NU fan in Denver
A little small, but damn he looks quick. I was thinking he could the type of player that would be good at the slip screens and wr screens, then I watched the video and that was one of the main plays. Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
I believe that he is filed under athlete - since 1/2 of his highlights are as a db, & a 4.4 (40) does not hurt at either position Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
Kickoff/Punt Return specialist?? With the understanding that he would get a look at other positions?? Quote Link to comment
DaveH
A WR at 5'9.5"? Don't Callahan and Co. go for tall recievers? Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
Would you pass up on santana moss or steve smith if they were available? They are pretty short as well. Speed kills at all levels of football, and this guy definately has that. Look at who Callahan has offered, not just gotten to come here. Many of the receivers are shorter in stature, we just seem to land the tall ones!! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
He would be a great addition to the football team as a returner or a slot reciever. He would provide a good mixture with Holt, Henry, and Paul over the next couple of years. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Bob Dean, from Rivals, says this kid is a blast to talk to. Very polite, a "yes sir", "no sir" kid. Get this (I'll paraphrase): Dean called Kirkendoll at his home earlier in the year. Kirkendoll wasn't home, but returned Dean's call. Dean thanked him for calling back, and Kirkendoll said that he knew Dean wrote for a Nebraska website - and that he made sure to only talk to writers for those schools that are at the top of his list. Good stuff. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Sounds very promising. Good to see some kids still have manners. Quote Link to comment
