I'm envious of that talent no doubt. Not sure we've got anybody that could start for either team. Westy maybe

Talent on the sideline and coaching booth too

Expecting to be as good as these teams with not being in the same universe talent wise is delusional. Need to get recruiting.

I've seen plenty of sloppy play and questionable calls today, but both teams are loaded. We aren't.

huh I don't know what game you are watching

The one with terrible pass protection, bad throwing by the QBs, bad decisions by the QBs, penalties (including on coaches), etc.

What game are you watching?

I hope Scott Frost continues to grow as a head coach so that when Coach Riley retires (we all know that SE will not fire him) we can offer Scott the head coach position. Who knows-maybe that has been the plan all along?

If we wait until Frost matures there is no way we get him to come here with all the teams that will vie for his services.

Really? You didn't see the fumbled snap at the goal line? Or the terrible fake punt call by OSU? Or the 4 turnovers so far?

The snap yes but not the int's or the fake punt

Watching this Michigan vs Ohio State game definitely reminds me of those classic Thanksgiving weekend matchups of Nebraska vs Oklahoma.

Big game. Conference rivals. Saturday afternoon kickoff. This is what college football is supposed to be.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I would love for the Big Ten to find a way to get Oklahoma into the conference. That way this weekend you could have 2 classic matchups, Michigan-Ohio State & Nebraska-Oklahoma.

The best thing about playing Oklahoma every year back in the Big 8 was that it forced Nebraska to raise our level of play, our level of expectations of what good, physical football is. Playing Wisconsin and Iowa every year are also physical football games, but it just doesn't compare to playing a blue-blood program like Oklahoma.

Nebraska needs the Oklahoma-Nebraska annual classic matchup back.

  1. It's good for both schools and their fan bases.
  2. It would be great for the Big Ten conference.
  3. It's good for college football.

I bet if Nebraska turned the ball over 3 times in a game they dominated and gave the other team a chance you'd call it sloppy and blame Riley. Just a hunch.

We would say that. Wisconsin-Minnesota is a great rivalry. Oldest in history. I am not convinced the rest of the conference would consider Nebraska-Oklahoma as on the same level. Maybe over time, if the games developed significance. Michigan and tOSU are playing for the Conference Champ (sort of) and both are in the playoff discussion...The Game has that kind of significance more often than not. The schools really hate each other. That's what makes it great.

Nebraska wants Oklahoma, so schedule them in non-con. Easy. The Big Ten Conference doesn't care.

Ya I can see where losing to these two would not be motivation enough.
