BigRedBuster
Winnebago goes down 55-52 with a missed shot at the buzzer. Bishop Neuman up on Scotus after first. So, that could set up Wahoo against Wahoo Bishop Neuman in the finals. Is there anyone on here from that area? How do you get a town that size with TWO teams that good? Do either of these schools pull players from surrounding areas?? Omaha?? 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Finals Class C1 Wahoo vs. Wahoo Neumann (unbelievable) Class D1 Lourdes vs. Guardian Angel ( got a chuckle out of that) Quote Link to comment
I AM FOOT FOOT
Watched Winnebago play a few games this year,Wingett is a great player and will be missed but they will be a force again next season. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
From what I've heard about him, he's a class act too. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
Probably no town in Nebraska is a basketball town like Wahoo. They have a long history of producing excellent teams. Still surprising both teams made the finals and were on opposite sides of the bracket. I remember Sandy Creek and Sutton, both from Clay County, meeting in the finals in the late 80's after playing 3 times in the regular season. Quote Link to comment

Another interesting thing is wahoo and wahoo Neumann didn't play in the regular season. I wonder why. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Class A Pappilion vs norfolk. Thought Omaha south would be here. Class B. Gretna vs Scottsbluff. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Chris Kingsbury has two sons on the Ponca team. I had no clue he lived in Ponca. Is he from there? No wonder they made it to the finals. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Kansas - boys and girls are the same weekend (this weekend) and each class is played in a different city. Seems weird to me still. Plus side? They play a 3rd/4th place game - chance for one more team to end season on a win. The high school I teach at did finish 3rd Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Sucks that Chang got hurt. Props to him for trying but there's just no way they can leave him out there like that. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
That really sucks for Chang. I was really looking forward to watching him. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I have never watched Strom. Wow. He's impressive Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I have never watched Strom. Wow. He's impressive I'm sure he usually make some but he hasn't been close on several three's he's taken already. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Wow. This game is U-G-L-Y Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Norfolk has one of the best bigs in the state and Papio's big is hurt. So of course they keep chucking threes even though they have yet to make one. Quote Link to comment
