teachercd
Just now, BigRedBuster said: I'm so N that I had tears in my eyes several times yesterday. For once, I feel like my kids will actually experience Nebraska being good at football. I have almost forgotten what good Husker football looked like. I can't wait to see it again. brophog
To clarify: I've been on and around sites like this since their inception, literally forever. I'm not alone, there are other really old timers here, too. What I can say is the history of online Husker sites is chaotic. Many sites have split to form new sites, some of which you'd be isn't-banned on simply because you wore the wrong hat. Sites that would split along coaching lines. Arguments that would go on for months and years, spilling over from one coach to another. People spewing very personal attacks not because of what happened that day, but because a battle line was drawn over the last coach or the one before that. People arguing just because I'm red and your white. That's fractious. That's not a fanbase pulling in one direction. That's different than just debating whether or not we should go for it in 4th down (which we will a lot). It excites me to see the reaction to this thread. If I'm honest, if it were almost any other coach, that contract would scare me. Frost is going to be around a while, regardless. He got a lot of leverage in this deal in regards to buyouts. But we know who he is, and we are already seeing some great results by Moos and the administration in orchestrating this transition. I can't help but be excited about the future. We are seeing an administration, coaching staff, and fans all working together. That's a tough combination to beat! 2 Quote Link to comment
secretasianman
Everything seems aligned and it’s truly awesome. Nebraska feels special again and I’m confident that Frost will field a team that we will be proud of, win or lose. Quote Link to comment
