Blackshirtsguru
No big shock there. Hell everyone is doping in sports now so why not?!! Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
They're doing another test just to be sure. They also said on SportsCenter that it might have been the cortizone shots (which are legal) that raised his testosterone levels. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
It's probably being pushed by the French since they are pissed that another American whipped em again! Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan20
I dont care if the French are pushing it or not. Im tired of athletes trying to get away with sh!t. WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH!!!! Quote Link to comment

It was a joke...Lighten up Francis! AGAIN the media does not have the entire story straight. It appears that Landis took a shot of cortizone because his hip is about to fall off. I guess the guy is going to have surgery soon and if I am not mistaken cortizone is not on the list of banned substances. Also on PTI they said that Landis is going to surgery in the near future. His Testosterone levels were small percents above the norm. I seriously doubt the guy was cheating because he knows they test each racer after every stage. Quote Link to comment
AR Husker Fan
The guy has an extremely bad hip - so bad that he walks with a pronounced limp when tired. When he isn't, he's developed an odd kind of walk that sort of hides it. He injured last year in a crash. The bone is deteriorating so rapidly that he'll have to have his hip replaced in the next few months. It's so bad that most doctors can't even imagine how he can bike. Simply put, the guy needs steriods just to stand up - they didn't give him any performace edge. If anything, he had to battle a handicap that would have sidelined 99% of the field. In my opinion, this is just a continuation of the Lance Armstrong thing - the French are so pissed at the American dominance of a sport named after their country that they will go to any lenghts to discredit any American that wins. huskernumerouno
I should have said "if this is true and he knowingly cheated he is an ASS" as usual the media people are being drama queens and just throwing headlines out to sell a story. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I totally agree. I need to see that someone is 100% on roids to discredit their performance before I start to bad mouth someone. Quote Link to comment
