**Design Contest: New Board Banner/Logo Part II**

Recommended Posts

What sort of stuff ought to be on the banner?

I don't know if I'll have the time to do something of quality, but maybe I will.

A variety of sports would be better than just one (football), right?

Okay, time for Round II of the Contest for the new Board Banner.

We had some GREAT entries last round, but with more people on board these days I'm anxious to see what our talented crew can produce this time around.

The winner of this contest will compete against the winner from Round I (a huskerguy creation - displayed at top of site) to crown the ultimate winner, and new Board logo/banner.

The grand-prize winner will become the new permanent banner for the board, and also receive a $25 gift certificate for Huskergear.com

Here are the details:

*Deadline for Round II is Sun/Aug 27th

*Image dims must in the area of 750px by 85px

*Image size must be in the area of 50 KBs

*It's ideal for the left & right margins to be white/transparent, ala the current banner. Why? B/c when people have higher screen resolutions it blends with the background nicely

*"HuskerBoard.com - The Heartbeat of Husker Nation" must be displayed prominently

*Members can submit as many entries as they want

*There will only be 1 winner, so I recommend focusing on quality instead of quantity

*Submit your entries within this thread

*And as always, no effing purple

Any questions lemee know. Good luck!!

Man, this is going to be a tough decision.

Blackshirt, you may just have to add some JavaScript code to the banner and rotate them all on a regular basis...

Very well done guys - Im impressed.

AR thats a good idea, but Im not sure if it would conflict with the board code, so I would recommend everyone just continues with the plan to only have 1 winner.
