foote_21
sorry guys.......we all think the world of Zac.......BUT unless Brady Quinn gets hurt, he is the Heisman qb to beat this year......everyone knows ND gets coverage like none other.....Zac would have to beat his numbers to have a shot...not likely, we still have an unproven O line.....and less than stellar receivers.....he would need lots of help to get those numbers.....but he is still going to have a good year Brady Quinn will lose three-four games this year If he doesn't, look out. What 3 or 4 games do you see them losing? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I'm not saying it's a definite, but there are a lot of places where they could trip up. I like Notre Dame, I wish them the best, but I think they'll have around two-three losses this season. They play Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, UCLA, USC...not exactly an easy schedule. I guess four is a little hopeful of me Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
If a running back playing QB like Crouch could win it I think Taylor has a chance as a true QB. Stay healthy, O-Line protects and the D gives him extra time on the field with numerous 3 and outs. Just play the games and see what happens. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
Hypesmans are won by programs, that push from the very beginning of the junior year. Zac has not been promoted prior to his senior year and is not being promoted this year. No chance unless he proves he can walk on water. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
^^^Plus Herian will be back, giving him another option over the middle. This receiving corp will be dangerous, IMO. Most definitely. Keller will be set when he starts for us the year after Taylor leaves. That year will be one scary year for opposing pass defenders. Keller will be set when he is taking snaps for us, IMO. coyeote
IMO Taylor could care less about the Heisman. He's more focused on team success. That being said he/UNL won't promote him as other programs will their guy thus it's a snowballs chance in July even with a huge season. Quote Link to comment

ttheKid1*18
IMO Taylor could care less about the Heisman. He's more focused on team success. I agree completely. He wants to win, and win first. Awards would be icing on the cake imo. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Good points...I saw on SI or ESPN the other day how Adrian Peterson was setting a goal of 2,200 yards...I guess winning is too hopeless there at OU to consider Quote Link to comment
The Red & White Knight
He could even win the whole thing. In fact, I think he should. You know what, zoogies? I think he should, too. Quote Link to comment

He knows he is going to have to carry that offense on his back. If he were to get to 2,200 yards, then that should mean that OU is having a pretty darn good season. I have no problem with individuals setting individual goals, just as long as they are benefical to their team. Quote Link to comment
