  2. Seeing Real Transformation, Rather Than Denying the Power - Rob Schultz I hope to have a conversation with my oldest son about this. I'm sure that for most of us who have come out of the "religious church message" have harmed the real power in the gospel that we now experience. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=364243411639395&id=119413899455682
  3. The two are not unrelated. If COVID-19 hospitalizations spike in those cities with big protests (peaceful & otherwise) it could have a big impact on football this fall. We should know in about 2 weeks.
  4. Today
  5. I read it as if the “warning shot” bounces off the street and hits a 5-year old in the background, the police officer is responsible....
  6. Are Miami area guys just virus spooked? No fans in stadium already announced. It would not be a big shock if a couple players out of 150 didnt show in this insane year.
  7. Is that a prediction for the game in September or for this recruit?
  8. Pretty damn funny. https://secondnexus.com/donald-trump-fbi-inciting-violence?fbclid=IwAR2yGEA-LxkaXLywH6AxPgXRSIeoiS3KnaL7c5ygvvp4th34_LQmIAVYghs My favorite response: Suspect has distinct orange skin, blonde wig and is known to have an obvious frontal lean. Last observed infront of a church, clutching a bible in his tiny little hands. Suspect is possibly armed with nuke codes and should be considered a danger to himself, others surrounding him, and most of the western hemisphere
  9. Um... I don't mind an illegible signature but... this one doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It's like as an 8 year old kid he saw a Dr's signature and decided to copy it. Where is the t he's crossing in the middle 1/3 of the signature?
  10. It would make for a lot better football, but I think a lot of the G5 would lose football altogether and less players could play. Although with the reduction in #s of kids playing football in high school now, that might be ok.
  11. language NSFW. This is in Illinois where open carry is illegal.
  12. Athlons FCS puts South Dakota State at 5th. They return starting QB stud (hurt end of last yr)....2x 1000 rusher who missed time last season and 1000 yr WR. They will not be intimidated and will come in here expecting to win.
  13. Well, at least Fisher has been able to get guys to sign. Williams talked a big game in recruiting, but couldn’t deliver on signing day. Plus, Fisher is starting to re-stock the cupboards with the 2021 class.
  14. I'm thinking 2021 we will really see what we have. Hoping to be better for sure. If we could just find a way to win the close (7 points or less) our record would turn around over nite.Culture, culture, culture..... Honestly, I am most excited to see how we look with Greg Austin as run game coordinator. I really like what he has said in the off season. I think it makes a huge difference this year. Not saying it will equate to wins automatically, but I really think we see a difference.
  15. If this keeps up, we're gonna have to start calling him Keith Williams...

  17. I'm not sure what you're replying to because I've missed a few posts/pages in this thread, but I've heard about what you're saying, and what I think you're saying is that every round issued to an active duty officer has to be accounted for, right? So a warning shot, no matter how well-intentioned, can't necessarily be accounted for. Right? (because a "warning shot" from the movies, as most of us understand it, is just a round fired into the air with no "findable" destination, right?)
  18. https://apnews.com/6223153093f08fa910c4ab445771b773 The three men were arrested Saturday on the way to a protest in downtown Las Vegas after filling gas cans at a parking lot and making Molotov cocktails in glass bottles, according to a copy of the criminal complaint obtained by The Associated Press. “People have a right to peacefully protest. These men are agitators and instigators. Their point was to hijack the protests into violence,” Nicholas Trutanich, U.S. attorney in Nevada, told AP. He referred to what he called “real and legitimate outrage” over Floyd’s death. The complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas on Wednesday said they self-identified as part of the “boogaloo” movement, which U.S. prosecutors said in the document is “a term used by extremists to signify coming civil war and/or fall of civilization.”
  19. Wasn’t he the one with all the drama on signing day?
