It's a process. I do think Rhule's strategy could pay dividends - keeping a very large roster that eventually becomes 4 and 5 year seniors is something Nebraska can do. Supplementing 4* talent - even if limited - can be effective with an older, experienced roster. Can Nebraska build and maintain that roster in the era of the transfer portal? It's a risky strategy, but with Nebraska's limited recruiting base it may be the only strategy that can mitigate the Blue Chip gap.

I don't hate 3* players. It's not a good strategy to have your recruiting class be 3/4ths of them.

I will be the first to admit I’m wrong. But I’m just not seeing the continuity in development with relying on transfers — especially if Coach Prime losses a lot in the portal. But what do I know.

If DR is the starter, hopefully they redshirt DK. If true that HH has improved his passing and is not as turnover prone, he might be an OK backup.

It will be interesting to see if Rhule adds Colorado’s Dylan Edwards from the portal and who appears to be a nebraska lean.

Yes, the same back from Colorado who is now in the portal may be a Nebraska lean. That might a good get since Dowdell hasn’t shown to be a standout. Only so far EJ has looked really good. GE and RJ appear to be liabilities. His stats aren’t that impressive, but he was playing perhaps behind the nation’s worst rushing OL, let the pass protection that gave up a staggering 56 sacks. Maverick, you add him to the list.
