Mavric
1. I think Rex Burkhead will wind up being New England’s most important running back this season. Great receiver, good runner and a better blocker than fellow scatbacks Dion Lewis and James White. Sports Illustrated's MMQB Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I'm hearing good things about this Rex Burkhead guy... 1 Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
That is great news. Second on the depth chart in New England means meaningful snaps. Good for Rex. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Maybe he's in Belichick's doghouse. Edit: He's on the next line down Quote Link to comment
zoogs
New England depth charts mean nothing, especially at RB. It's not even clear from this graphic whether Rex is 2, 3, or 4, haha. And is Mike Gillislee really 5? He was their "big" signing at RB this offseason. Quote Link to comment

James White had 39 rushing attempts for 161 yards and 0 TD last season and 60 receptions for 551 yards and 5 TD. I know he had a big super bowl, but they were in pass happy catch up mode all second half. Quote Link to comment
