Who were they? I agree with not given the opportunity to play but who were the 'extremely talented Huskers that transferred'? That's what I'm trying to figure out too. "The list of extremely talented Huskers that transfered or wasn't given the opportunity". J. Dailey? C. Dukes? C. Green? Haha.....I can't even think of one guy who hacks the "list". However, for those that have left just MAYBE they "weren't given the opportunity" because we had other players at their position that were better. Duh. Negative Nancys doing thier thing. We have a lot of these on the boards, we should be buying them shirts whenever they get going...http://www.cafepress.com/befud.627904498

I think he has plenty of strength, the man put up 24 reps in the bench at the combine. That would have put him 4th among TEs for 2012 and 5th in 2011.

Definitely not a lower class. He plays in the largest class in Illinois.

So Michigan signed 25 kids to our 17. Take Michigan’s best 17 and do you still believe they are only ranked higher then NU because of “quantity over quality”? Michigan’s Top 17 recruits average Stars – 3.82 Nebraska’s Top 17 recruits average Stars – 3.35 Ohio State’s Top 17 recruits average Stars – 4.05 If Nebraska could pick up 5 kids from in-state that were 4 stars like Michigan and Ohio St. do it would definitely help this cause. Nebraska doesn't have the talent in-state that they can pick off like these two schools do. Ohio State and Michigan have essentially locked down the top high school talent in their two states. Nebraska does equally as well as the other schools recruiting outside of their borders. This is why the walk-on program is so important.

And the one that got away was always A LOT bigger in your mind than it was in real life.

Don't you think he'd hold off on his decision if he was still being pursued by LSU? Why announce at 9:00 a.m. if there is still a possibility LSU offers him later?

How good can we be with TM under center next year?
FrankWheeler replied to G0B1GRED's topic in Husker Football
I don't think him taking sacks is really a problem, he only got sacked 21 times which is pretty average and sack yardage was for only 99 yards so this certainly wasn't a big problem. I think he did a pretty good job of limiting his bad plays this year (except for Wisconsin of course). If Taylor keeps putting up similar numbers to the previous 2 years and has no advancement whatsoever he is still going to own the record books at Nebraska, if there is any problem it is not T-Magic.- 590 replies

I didn't know Arizona State was one of his top choices. Stanford isn't exactly close to Tempe.

I think we found him....

Future All-Americans not top recruits

If that doesn't prove that the N still mean's something you've lost your mind. -

Have you seen the walk-on class this year? -
Can you expand on this? I think the long-term potential of our offensive line is ridiculous with these last two recruiting classes. I think we are young but deep.

I think knowing that we have him on our team for the next two years we know we have the potential to be a top 10 team if we can play adequate defense.- 590 replies

JP, Els, Raymond, Garrison, Fischer have no connections to Youngstown. -
I think Moore and his girlfriend have the same smile/teeth, maybe this is their attraction to one another.

We get it, we will only win games when we have easy schedules. We will never beat teams that are actually good. Not like in '77 (Osborne's 5th year) when we lost in Memorial Stadium to Washington State and Iowa State and went 9-3. Or '78 when we lost at home to Mizzou and went 9-3. or in '92 when we lost to a 4-7 Iowa State team and went 9-3. Osborne won 9 games in 6 of his first 9 seasons. Fire Osborne! -

How do you know JP is not a competent guy? Do you know him? Does he call you at home? Do you have a headset? To coach with Bo you must think like the Pelini's! You must be getting inside the Pelini's head. JP is saying to Bo, "Blitz?... Blitz? Blitz? Blitz?" and Bo is saying "Blitz? BLITZ!?!??" and he is in his headset "Nooooooooo!" and you can quote him! -

The true difference is Frost was a Nebraska guy and JP is a Pelini guy. The negative guys on here aren't going to stop bitching until it is a Nebraska guy that comes back to coach. Same thing happened when Els was hired over Colman. -

I would tend to disagree with you. He has come out and publicly said that he is still committed to Nebraska. Westerkamp said. “All I can say is the visit Notre Dame visit was good, and I had a good time there. I am still committed to Nebraska though.” Westerkamp said he really likes both of the coaching staffs at both schools, but his relationship with Nebraska’s staff is a little stronger since he has been committed for so long.
