IMO, the only way this hurts Nebraska is distance. If a player from Florida or California comes here and plays well early on, they may be more willing to return home to play at one of the P5 schools that maybe didn’t offer them. Like stated already, this hurts schools like Purdue and Indiana more than it would Nebraska.

For every one of these kids that pan out, there are 4 or 5 that cant hang. Burrow was a miss by the last regime and he was a 4 star out of HS, not even in the same argument as Mr. Harsh.

Callahan had a HC gig in the NFL prior to Nebraska, so him being an assistant afterwords means very little. He is a damn good O-Line coach currently, just a below average HC while at Nebraska. What coaches do after leaving a school doesn’t change the outcome while they were there.

Unless you’re idea of best is losing, then it’s 100% accurate. You also lost me at Bill Callahan being a better coach than Bo.

Irrelevant to the discussion, but was looking through the state rankings on 247 after reading the OP... 23/25 top players (4&5*) in California left the state. Pretty crazy. Proves position coaches and winning matter.

Manipulation occurs on both sides. College students come to mind on the left. Again, it’s the problem with the two-party system. I would guess a maximum of 25% of the country is in the middle and willing to vote based on their own opinions and beliefs.

I never got a good vibe from this dude and I’m not trying to be one of those upset fans. It’s the same feeling I get from Slusher. It’s not necessarily the athletes fault for all the publicity and notoriety their recruitment receives, but if you truly don’t have your mind made up 24 hours before you sign, it’s probably best for both parties to look elsewhere.
