This definitely doesn’t need a new thread. It’s been two games and he is a true freshman. I think they will play them when he is ready or when there is no chance at making a bowl game. The offense is awful at every position. This could go down as one of the worst Nebraska offenses in the past 20-30 years. Coleman isn’t saving that.

If you just switched QB’s in both games, we’d be 2-0. You need your QB to be a gamer in college. Honestly one of the most important positions in all of sports. Look at Alabama last night. Sims just doesn’t have it but he doesn’t have a ton around him either.

I didn’t watch the 4th quarter but what was the offenses longest pass downfield? Usually when you have a one dimensional offense, you have to take a shot or two to make the defense respect the pass.

While I don’t disagree that people like myself are overreacting because we are tired of losing like this, Minnesota is not a good football team.

I learned someone on the coaching staff needs to put the bong down if they think Simms can complete 65% of his passes. Maybe they meant to the opposing team?

That the fans are actually the losers for showing up to every game the last 10 years of misery. The football team gets participation trophies 7 times each year with a sold out stadium. Win or lose, they think they’re special. If you tell an ugly person they’re beautiful enough, they’ll eventually believe it. Nebraska football is evidence.

We really aren’t overreacting. Rhule has never coached at a place like Nebraska. You can’t go 1-11 in a rebuild here without hearing it every week.
