  1. I don't know why this would annoy anyone. The only reason he wears that shirt is because it reminds him of how hard he's worked to get on the field.
  2. For whatever reason a few players have longer leashes than others. It seems like Bo would rather play guys who know the system despite their inability to PERFORM in the system. Lavonte, E-Mart, Stafford. None of those guys really knew the system when they started playing and they're 3 of our best playmakers. Put the athletes on the field and let them grow.
  3. I wanna preach patience but I don't see how our situation improves next season. Most of the young guys will have little to no experience and we're losing our two best defensive players.
  4. I don't mind the two-gap scheme simply because of our attrition at linebacker. If we had three or four guys who could consistently tackle back there I would feel much better about letting the D-line loose.
  5. I like how Turner owned up to his mistakes. This kid's going to be special once he puts everything together.
  6. The LJS article was very poorly written. They made it sound like she's been guaranteed diversion. They also mentioned that she can legally drive again, which is crazy if you ask me. She should lose her license for at least a year or two.
  7. I just wish we could get inside Lauren's head. Did she call the police because she is a genuinely honest person or because her tire blew out?
  8. What exactly has he been saying? I don't have a Twitter so I can't follow him.
  9. Should probably mention Andrew Green's progress. He played extremely well. We may have found ourselves a new lockdown corner.
  10. Yeah, the option is just painful to watch at this point. I do think the option to pitch to JT or Bell in the slot has potential, though.
  11. I just wanna know how she managed to hit somebody on the side of the road if she wasn't drinking, smoking, texting, etc... I mean how the hell do you do that?
  12. Yeah, he looked extremely confident in the pocket. I don't think we've seen Taylor with that type of confidence in his arm since the Missouri game last year. Combine that with the fact he's clearly matured and continues to grow and the future of the Huskers looks very bright.
  13. It kills me how they used Colter when we could be doing the same damn thing with Jamal Turner.
  14. 1. That Taylor Martinez has a chance to be a damn good QB. His confidence is on par with last year right before he got hurt against Missouri, and his game management skills have caught up with that blinding speed. 2. We may have found another cornerback in Andrew Green. He quietly had a very good game. I can't believe more people haven't commented on how well he played, especially since he was probably our worst CB at the beginning of the season. 3. Green, Heard, and Abdullah have to get more touches, although I'm not convinced Abdullah is suited to play running back. I think he'd do better as a slot receiver or cornerback. 4. I don't care what JT did... get him on the field. 5. There were two guys on defense who killed us all game long. The coaching staff has to find someone who can cover their man for more than half a second.
  15. Well, at least this game showed Dorial we know how to pass the football.
  16. Shout out to Andrew Green. He quietly played very well again.
  17. He is, but this loss is still on Bo. He failed to adjust post-Persa and the lack of depth is alarming.
  18. I'm "okay" with the loss because of this team's youth and inexperience, but I can't stand how Bo and company refuse to play ANYONE but the starters. Develop some damn depth. What's the point in recruiting these ridiculous athletes if you don't plan on using them?
  19. It's really inexcusable that he's so worn down. We've got three talented guys behind him who are more than capable of handling the load (if not individually than as one).
  20. I thought we showed up... we just got exposed defensively. There were a few blackshirts who were out of position all game, and offensively our lack of development on the o-line and at running back killed us. If Bo takes anything from this loss, it's that developing the backups is just as important as getting the first team reps.
  21. Taylor Martinez. He played his ass off. Arguably the best game of his career... this is the first time he's put up those type of numbers while also playing game manager. If he continues to develop and grow as a quarterback, we are going to be very, very good in the coming years.
  22. Tough game to stomach. Trying to look at the positives... Taylor played ridiculously well. He had like 1 bad throw all game. Our receivers did a good job catching the football after a questionable first quarter. The talent is obviously there... it just has to be developed I do hope Beck and Brown realized how important it is for the backup running backs to get their touches, though. Rex looked exhausted out there.
  23. That we have a young team, and they're only going to get better. That Beck and co. have to get the young running backs more touches... Burkhead looked exhausted out there.
  24. I hope so. I wanna see if Taylor has truly lost that elite first step or whether it just appears that way because he's more of a game manager this year.
  25. I think one of the young guns will break out in a big way today. I'm hoping it's JT.
