Ran distance events in track and wrestled varsity in high school. Ran cross country in college. Learned the game of basketball in intramural at college and played many basketball tournaments, city leagues and noon ball at the local YMCA till I was 65. Started running sprints at seniors meets around the country about 9 years ago. I have 7 grandkids that I love dearly.
On a recent trip I drove from Wash DC back to central Nebr. Two states vie for the title of worst interstate road conditions. Indiana noses out Illinois. Both states were pathetic. Spent the night in Columbus OH and drove to see the stadium before leaving.
You guys ever try the roads around Detroit? They look like the Bagdad highway, all bombed out with pot holes and crappy repairs. Interstats are dirty as hell too.
There are a lot of roads in IL that you have to pay to drive on as well. I'm honestly not sure where all that revenue is going, because it obviously isn't paying to keep those roads maintained.
