  1. But if we correct our own issues, we win by 4 scores. Probably more. But we didnt and we won't and that's the same story for the last several years.
  2. Have been a tmart supporter but ive got to be honest he's not a very smart QB. Several times today he did something that wasn't smart and this usually kills us in big games(see osu rewind). I'm also sick of seeing him run like a woman now. The coaches have completely taken that skill away from him. Yes I realize this might not be his fault. That said, you are correct in saying he hit some big passes down the stretch. no one can doubt his desire but I'm starting to doubt other things about our QB.
  3. By the way..I have season tix in Lincoln so I understand driving a ways.
  4. I'm from Peoria il he was speaking of all the husker fans.
  5. Actually does the win change this? I'm not so sure it does anymore. We are a very poorly coached Team in every aspect of the game. Very poor.
  6. My father looks at me in the stands and says,"you know we are the most loyal fans if we are willing to drive across the country to watch this team" Awesome. Also That stadium was the biggest joke of a stadium I've been in. Our coaching is horrible Players are yelling at each other, yelling at coaches etc Embarrassing win
  7. Granted it was an article, but I haven't heard Bo speak like this since he has been hear. Words the fan base needed to hear IMO. First, I'm not a Bo hater. Second, I'm not buying it anymore. Want to, but not going to.
  8. Um, you've not been embarrassed enough yet? I don't think so. Im sure hes happy with his 6-0 record... Never get used to non NU fans posting on this board. My bad.
  9. I remember talking to Bo the same day, and he was very friendly. You and your wife must not be friendly enough. I shouldn't have tried to give him a hug...I think that's where I went wrong.
  10. It's the same crap all the time. I know I posted this same stuff three years ago. It hasn't changed and won't. I like BO but to be honest I'm tired of his being such an ass to people all the time. An example: my wife and I were in the elevator with some other fans at the cornhusker hotel the day of the Wisconsin game. The elevator opens up on floor 3 and Bo is standing there looking at us. We all say hey BO, good luck etc....he stands there and stares at us without saying a word. Not a word. I'm beginning to believe other that his canned statements about execution and the us vs them mentality, he really doesn't know what to do. Hope I'm wrong.
  11. So many things to disagree on but basically sounds like your fine with all the coaches taking their time to learn what they are doing. If they are going to need to take some time to figure out their job I would appreciate it if their boss would stop talking nonsense about BCS bowls, winning out , etc. it's embarrassing to us all. What is Bo supposed to say, exactly? "Yeah, our D sucks this year. We miss Suh, and I'm going to see if we can get a waiver for him to come back and finish the year for us instead of the Lions. We're going to be lucky to win two more games and play for in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl!" If you were in his shoes, would you say that crap? You might handle it a little different-- talk about the loss, what went wrong, and how we plan to address it-- but I like that Bo is projecting confidence right now. He is the head of this program, and I want him to set the bar high. It's the way he is wired, and I don't mind it. It might rub a lot of people the wrong way, and I'm getting tired of crapping the bed in the big games too, but I think Bo can lead us to great things. I am just going to be patient. If the defense quits on Bo like 2007 did for Cally and continues to just turn the ball over again and again when we can't have it, I may change my mind. But I am perfectly fine with the way Bo is handling getting pasted and is trying to save the season. EMBARRASSING would've been Bo blowing a gasket at the post game presser and perpetuating that hothead image that still follows him around for non-Husker fans. I think he tells his team that they are going to win out. I think he tells the public he apologizes for the way they are coaching and playing and they are going to do their best to get better. Im not saying bo's the wrong guy for the job, however, I am questioning his leadership skills at the moment. I also am getting tired of having coaches who are learning on the job, that just doesn't make sense to me at this level for this program.
  12. We have more depth at some positions than you think. Might be time to pull some red shirts off some defensive players maybe? Santos, Brown and Afalava see some/more playing time? Like everyone said after the UCLA beat down.

  14. I mentioned this in another thread last night...that band was legit. The best show I think I've ever seen at a college football game. I felt bad for maher who clearly had no idea the dotting of the I thing was that important.
  15. That might be the dumbest comment I've seen on here since I moved over from the dark side. Your not a true fan if you don't think you can win every game you go into? Seriously?
  16. What exactly did you think they were going to say? Did you watch the game?
  17. We're starting to sound like Cub fans. I have been a Cub fan for 50 years and a Husker fan since I went to school there 30 years ago. The difference between Cub fans and Huskers fans is night and day. It could not be greater. Cub fans expect nothing from their team and simply enjoy whatever happens, supporting their team and being ecstatic when they actually win. Husker fans expect everything, seem to rarely enjoy the team (being frustrated and angered often), and are bitter when they lose. No.... Husker fans could not be more dissimilar from Cub fans. That said, it would be great if the trend in Husker fandom began to move toward the Cub end of the continuum. There is something very healthy about Cub fans. So... here is hoping we move that way. Now is good time to start. If the Huskers win one in these next few weeks then great. I do not expect a victory these next few weeks... I'd like to see one (or more). But I do not expect one. It is not rational to expect this team to win these game. Two of the three could be tight... one -- not so much. Nevertheless, lets root for them and enjoy. It is just a game, a diversion. Like the Cub fans of old and now... just kick back and enjoy the camaraderie with friends and family and cheer the team on. Like I said, you sound like a Nebraska cub fan. I live in central il and love hearing how great they are going to be NEXT year. I understand enjoying being together with other Nebraska fans and enjoying the fellowship. This is why I drive my 7 hours to games and my entire family has been raised on Husker tradition. . I also understand that at some point you have to show signs of serious progress and it can't always be NEXT year. Cuz that means you suck every year. And unlike you, the fellowship for some just doesn't overcome the constant SUCKING. Will we all still show up and support the kids...of course, but that doesn't mean we should pretend things aren't going in a bad direction and have been for a while.
