We have a 37% chance of beating Northwestern?? In Lincoln?!? Fortunately HB has an emoti for this type of tripe: Well Northwestern has beaten Nebraska in Lincoln once before. Just saying. I think ESPN has been predicting Nebraska to go 5-7 or 4-8 for the last 10 years at least. At some point, they'll be exactly like a broken clock and just happen to be coincidentally right. Not that I think that means it will happen again but I'm pretty sure Northwestern is a Hail Mary away from being undefeated in Lincoln.

Limited stats last season. Tearing up camps now and ratings are beginning to bump, one this morning. That would make sense. And it looks like Scout bumped him. But he had over 1000 receiving yards and 11 TDs last season plus 4 INTs. That doesn't seem very limited.

Said he's known he wanted to commit for about five weeks. Wanted to see what our offense would look like going forward and likes that we have several passing QBs. Said he's shutting his recruiting down.

So if the athleticism is very good and he goes to a big school in a major metro area and has been to the camps, what's keeping his rating down?

Word is we have been targeting 4 DBs in this class but now may be looking at five. I don't see how that works at 15 but that's the story. More speculation that we may pass on taking a QB this time around. Will also be interesting to see if we're now done at WR. Wow. I thought Maryland was farther ahead of us than that. Must have only looked at wins - they have 14 to our 12 - and not realized they also have two more losses.

ADS, for this class to get to 20 we will need 7-8 players to leave the program by next summer and 5 of them will have needed to leave by NSD. As of right now, we would only *have* to have 2 leave to get to 20. We have 15 open spots and can over-sign by 3. Now, we may choose to leave Reimers and Conrad (or others) on scholarship which would reduce the number of open spots but I don't see us putting that many walk-ons on scholarship to need 7-8 to leave.
