  1. Banker will be at Lackawanna College (Pennsylvania) and Pima College (Arizona) before checking in on the Calabasas crew.
  2. Brandon Reilly was in a walking boot and Kevin Williams didn't practice. Those appear to be the only injuries right now.
  3. Riley says all coaches will be on the road Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
  4. POB is vastly superior to Stanton. Even at the JUCO level Stanton is subpar. At the risk of derailing this thread, his stats don't exactly look sub par. He's completing 62.6% of his passes. Accounting for almost 300 yards of total offense per game. Threw 3 picks the first game. Since then his TD/INT is 17/5. And they've won their last 8 games.
  5. Illinois Fighting Illini at Providence Friars Indiana Hoosiers vs Creighton Bluejays Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Marquette Golden Eagles Maryland Terrapins vs. Georgetown Hoyas Michigan Wolverines vs. Xavier Musketeers Nebraska Cornhuskers at Villanova Wildcats Penn State Nittany Lions vs. DePaul Blue Demons Rutgers Scarlet Knights at St. John's Red Storm
  6. Deadspin is nothing but a wretched hive of clickbait scum and misreported villainy anymore. So like Fox News, but without the eye candy. I was told by a reliable source that it's not as bad there as some other places....
  7. So apparently the APR isn't quite the deal that has been previously reported. Looks like no one knows how 5-7 teams will be selected. At any rate, I can't imagine Nebraska not being basically the first team selected no matter how they do it. ESPN
  8. Last week on Big Red Wrap-up, they had Blake Lawrence, Jay Foreman and Barrett Ruud on the show. Three former Blackshirts. Kugler asked if winning out including winning a bowl game would make this a successful season. Lawrence kind of ducked the question but the other two flat out said that wouldn't make it a success. They all generally said it would definitely be a good finish and hopefully lead to better things next year but none would call it a successful season. Now, you can semantic this one to death. If you want to argue that not successful isn't the same as lost then have it it. But I would have to agree with the not successful judgement. However, it would definitely be a great finish and hopefully we don't see a repeat of the first half of the season ever again.
