IDK man, OU has always had some big nasty O-Linemen. I have to say without a doubt, Suh would push these B1G linemen around just like he did in the Big 12. The only team I really saw "beat" Suh was KU when we played them because they had the G take the contact from him and then the C came and layed as big of a hit on his side as he could, and that totally threw him off. Suh is a different animal, he would have dominated anywhere. I was refering to our current talent.

B1G linemen > Texas 10 linemen. This is why you dont see penetration from the D line. Texas 10 run wide splits, smaller and faster linemen. Its easier to shoot a gap or push the linemen back. In the B1G, these are NFL caliber linemen you face every weekend. They dont take wide gaps and they are big/strong mofos. Your not just going to push them around like you could against Baylor, ISU, etc.

With the injuries and lack of game experience for all but Baker, I cant see why we WOULDNT take a proven DT. This guy has College film, means a hell of a lot more than HS film, imo. Also, no once can dispute Pelinis success with Juco Defensive players.

Doesnt take a lot of talent to hand the ball off to Rex. No it doesn't and the mesh is good most of the time. However the timing, spacing and delivery of a pitch does take some talent and repetition. It's one of those activities that looks easy...........until it goes awry.... lol, true. But, that is why i didnt state "pitch". Just "hand" the ball to Rex and cruise to a 9+ win season

i watched it and thought they were dead on. I know as a fan i dont like hearing the bad truth at times. But they commented on taylor making too many mistakes and that is maybe why Bo chews his ass. I think that is accurate. I also think we lost our best three defensive players in a sub-par defense last year. THat is pretty accurate as well. get mad all you want, but their assessment was spot on, IMO.

how dare you use logic here. Blasphemy! Pelini has a type of personality that you either love or hate. I cant imagine it would be easy to work for/play for. But one thing i do respect... he always has his players back (sometimes to a fault). But on the flip side about Bo's love or hate personality..... he does get players to stay the whole time. Dennard, Suh, Prince, David, Crick, Stienkuhler, etc could have all left their Jr year for the draft but stuck it out. Most coaches cant keep their "proven" players on campus for their sr year, so make sure you see the positive side as well.

It's not that black and white. Crick was injured his senior year so that obviously hurt his draft stock and we all know why Fonzie went in the 7th round. Plus we had a pretty young team last year. If anyone expecting a troubled program with a rookie head coach with an unknown staff would produce a top draft class is just crazy. I criticize Bo all the time, but facts are facts. If he cant have a good class in 2-3 years, then I think it would speak volumes.

With who? Tommy is the only competition. With his skills, he is pretty guaranteed 2nd string and a chance to fight for playing time his red- shirt freshman year. He will be behind Keil, Reese, Hendricks and Golson at ND. He wont have a chance to compete for playing time until his jr year. btw, those 4 qbs that ND has, could probably start at Nebraska now and are aguably better than any qb's we have had in a while....

You really think that happened? Ya, and Bo has stated every year he would rather not play the game at all. No tapes, no fans, no media. I think if Bo could find an easy way out of the spring game, he was going to use it.... and he did. I dont care about the money. I had a good time Friday night and Saturday day. I got to see some family and old friends. I wasnt asking for my money back or anything. But, some people seem to think every husker fan still lives in Nebraska or the midwest. Some of us have to spend much more to come see games and spring practices.

$900 to watch a practice.....good call on your part. You should have volunteered one of your family members to Dr. Tom to stand on the skybox to act as a lightning rod. Ya, sorry for being a dedicated fan. With only a few games a year that am able to attend, I look forward to another game day atmosphere during spring game. If you dont apprecaite that, then i feel bad for you. As for me, $900 is well worth it. I had no issue with it being delayed or re-scheduled. I just think Bo using the "players had personal scheduling conflicts" was a BS answer. I guarantee 99% of those guys would reschedule anything to get in pads and go 100% in front of 60k fans. Bo didnt want really want the game and it would cost the university a lot of money to put it back on for free on Sunday. I understand the decision, just dont apprecaite the BS excuse Bo gave everyone.

$750 - two tickets to omaha $50 - Dog boarding $20 - Tickets $50 - Airport Parking = $870 wasted. Not happy at all. The excuse about not doing it on Sunday is BS. Bo doesnt care about fans and never wanted a public spring game, let alone taped. Well, he got his way it seems. Too bad the fans and players are the ones who pay the price. Ya it was just a spring game, but its been a tradition in my family to go every year, price aside. Free nachos didnt make me feel better, Dr Tom! I know it wasnt a big deal to 95% of the people... but not every husker fans lives in driving distance.

I liked Khiry and hoped he would do great things here. But, in your last year able to play football, you want to play. He knows he can see playing time at Tulsa. I love Nebraska, but I loved playing football more. If i had another year of elligibility (and still young and in shape).....the choice to be 2nd-3rd string a NU, or being on the field at another school.... i would be on field. I dont think its was personal for him, he just wants to play. I think he knows he will never put on another set of pads after this year, and for those that never felt that before... it is a gut wrenching feeling.

I dont think recruits care too much what a coach does in his personal life. If he keeps his job, it wont change any recruits. If he does get fired, then yes, it would change a lot of things. Its not like this dude was molesting boys or something horrific like other scandals over the last year or two. A boss banging his scretary has been going on since women were allowed into the work force. That wont change. Mix a old horny guy with power and money, with a broke hot chick that is looking to get ahead in life, its bound to happen. Hell this girl was engaged to the director of swim athletics just a few months ago.... I think her track record speaks for itself. the only place he screwed up was lying. But hey, if a coach was fired for lying about something, most head coaches would be fired (along with Bo).
