Cisco, you seem to know what all these coaches are thinking. Saban left LSU and went to a crappy Alabama team for more money, why is it so hard to think others might do the same.

With some young talent, top 5 facilities, great fans, easy B1G West division coming up - our only real downside is recruiting location. While I think most of those coaches would be a dream, its not like I am listing people like Meyer, Saban, Chip Kelly, Stoops, Les Miles, O'Brien, Jimbo Fisher, Sumlin, etc.

Just off the top of my head - Charlie Strong, Kirby Smart, Gary Patterson, Chris Peterson, Art Briles, Pat Fitz, Mark Richt, James Franklin, Steve Sarkisian, Dabo Swinney, Paul Rhodes, Paul Johnson, Chad Morris, Scott Frost, Al Golden.

When your Defense lets the opponent score on 6 or 7 consecutive drives, most being touchdowns, it hard to not put the majority of the blame on the Defense. Taylor sucked today, but that is not the reason for the loss. Has to be the most ignorant response I've ever seen. Why did they score on those 6 or 7 drives? How often were they out there? Why were they out there that much? How fast was UCLA running that offense? Come on...every loss is a TEAM loss. That offense of ours which was supposed to be all-star fantastic went three and out AT LEAST FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. Ive seen some of your post, mine couldn't have been any worse than most of yours. We run the same offense here, they had all week to practice against a high paced spread team. Your blaming the loss on UCLA running a hurry up offense? wow

Carl also had the NFL talent that Callahan left him. Pap is stuck with what Bo has recruited. Last year and this year the the first time that Bo has ever had to use players that he recruited, and you see the result of that on a weekly basis. True, but much less talented teams do more with less. There is no excuse for the last 4 of 5 games. Hey, anyone would have looked good against So Miss.

I would have, just to calm him down. He was very jittery, overthrowing balls the first few drives. Just one series would have helped.

Bo and Pap lack any ability to motivate their players. Scheme is fine, we had players in position most of the time. Players made those plays the first half of the game, so its not a lack of talent. Everything points to Bo and Pap lack the know how to motivate their players. Carl used the same scheme, but our defense played tough and with an attitude. Carl may not be a great coach, but at least our defenses didn't just stop playing for 2 quarters a game. Does Bo attitude rub off on the Offense? or is Beck lacking at times too?

So what you are saying is..... we have to wait another 10 years for a NC?

wow, kinda harsh to say he is gonna die on the job. and a little advice, build a bridge and get over it. there's no need to hold so much contempt for the head coach of the supposed school you root for. hot damn! a bit jumpy are we? For your information, my opinion is that Bo will turn the corner and be successful here for some time - or he wont, in which case I think he will be a very successful NFL D-Coordinator. take a deep breath....

When Bo leaves NU, it wont be for a HC job.

20th. SC and Florida wont drop much, and a win over a 0-14 team wont impress the voters all that much. A dominating win over UCLA next week will give us a big boost.

Anyone end up watching the game? How'd he look? Played mostly right tackle though they did flop their line some so he should feel right at home here. Very solid from what I saw. Once he got locked onto a defender, they were done. Keeps his legs driving well. Was even pushing around some guys who looked to be significantly heavier. Didn't really have any spectacular blocks but never saw him get beat either. Mountain Pointe was the runner-up in Arizona last year so they were very solid. I didn't see the game. But, with O-linemen, I will take a consistent guy over a monster that only shows up a few plays per drive.

Are you still arguing with Stumpy? Because I don't see anyone else that is disagreeing with you. Some people here just like arguing with themselves, it seems No doubt the kid was/is good. Hope this head injury is something that wont affect him down the road. Seems like a good kid.

lol, I am glad you know me so well. I don't hate Bo, but I cant say I agree with some of his tactics. I think Nebraska was a big stage for a coach with no head coaching experience and no long term recruiting experience (short stops at LSU and Oklahoma). I don't think he will get worse, just not sure how long it will be before he takes the next step. As for 4 loses, I do think we will reach that mark again. I see a loss to PSU/NW and one to Michigan, as well as a lose to OSU in the CCG, and a loss to a high ranked SEC team in the bowl game. Not sure how that makes me a Bo hater - just being realistic with our very young Defense.

Bo sure knows how to get fans and former players vested into the Nebraska Program. Must be nice that you can shun the fans and media and still have fan support - he's lucky he is at Nebraska and not some other school that doesn't have undying fan support, like we have. Feels like Callahan days again....
