I would think Nebraska would have to win Saturday very convincingly to get a sniff at it. ESPN has been wanting to go to Pullman for WSU but they just lost to a FCS school, so they might need to earn their shot back

Has gameday ever been somewhere with an unranked team, aside from when the go once a year to the really small school/FCS/Ivy matchup?

That's the thing, I don't think they have. But I also don't think they've had the problem of just 1 undefeated ranked matchup to choose from as early as week 3
