  1. I don't see an issue with this.Chicken basket with fries and gravy, please.
  2. Wonder what the rest of the Eugene participants results are. Looking back through the other regional camps this year, Noah's rating is the highest.
  3. Won't deny that. There have been plenty of train crashes and they do make headlines, especially when there's a big fireball like the one in Virginia. Mainstream media covers them, and NBC News reported that oil train dereailments hit record numbers in 2014. Even the Daily Show did a segment on how trains might be more dangerous than pipelines. If the implication is that Buffett can buy, or simply get sympathetic treatment from liberal media on railroad related stories, it's a dubious connection. Train spills are typically much smaller and more easily contained than pipeline bursts, especially where water is concerned, so they might affect fewer people. The Keystone Pipeline story is pretty interesting in that it's hardly unique as pipelines go, but environmental organizations decided to draw a line in the stand and make Keystone a litmus test. I also think they really, really hate the Koch Brothers. It's not even just liberal media, that he also owns, it's politicians and a president that veto the bill. But even heavy liberal media in Seattle WA are finally coming around to questioning BNSF and their lack of reporting spills. I can definitely buy your last sentence. Agree. The Koch Brothers are just awful human beings. Yes, demonize people who have different ideas on how to address problems. (For those who don't know, they are libertarians that have the audacity to support ideals that they believe in, many of which liberals now embrace (gay marriage, legalize pot, etc.) and claim moral superiority). It was a wee joke, aimed at a poster who was slyly demonizing a man with different ideas on how to address problems. In truth, I would support the candidacy of a genuine Libertarian. And since America has an established Libertarian Party, I can't wait to see the Libertarian candidates the Koch Brothers will be funding with the billion dollars they've promised in the coming election cycle. I think they're awful but hey....prove me wrong Koch Brothers! So a person with liberaterian ideals should support someone who has no chance; or rather, should that person support someone who may win and is closer to thier ideology. You tell me what you would do. It's funny to me how certain people choose to demonize a person who disagree with them (I'm not talking about you), create a negative characture of them, and propagate that image, and people/media without thought or review accept said falsehood - even attacking those who disagree without out even entertaining the thought they may be wrong (yes, I know a lot of you will use this comment against me and claim its ironic - I'm willing to accept that challenge and debate you on the point and see where our discussion goes). You're kind of condescending, Guy. I don't believe I was slyly demonizing Buffett, I was pretty clear that I don't trust him.
  4. Solid three years worth of highlights right there I tell you what.
  5. 2+ touchdown domination or eek a win out as they learn to play as a unit under Riley. My money is on the former.
  6. Akili Smith did a little in the 90s to help Oregon make a solid run in the Pac 10. Then belotti started to build a program, handed the keys to Kelly who continued to push their profile. Once that success came along Papa Phil started opening pocket books to buy the program to where they're at today. It really hasn't been much more than 15 years that this Nike/Oregon explosion began. It makes me sick, like many of their fans do. It's one place I have no desire to see nebraska play in person.

  8. I dunno if I trust the source but have heard Buffett has written buyout checks before. Conspiracy theory or not it's not hard to understand that him donating to dems doesn't indeed help prevent the pipeline when BNSF currently profits off of hauling oil. Funny how his train oil spills don't make splash headlines like other environmental spills do. He's a good businessman, but he's a shark.
  9. I want to see the complete list of 10-11 QB's that come up before Wilson. In no particular order: Peyton Manning Aaron Rodgers Tony Romo Tom Brady Eli Manning Drew Brees Andrew Luck Joe Flacco Matt Ryan Phillip Rivers Ben Roethlisberger Russell Wilson would then fall somewhere after these guys for me. Again, that's not their order of greatness, just guys I'd take ahead of him. He's got that "it" factor, but so do most of the guys I just listed. To some degree, any successful NFL QB has "it", otherwise they wouldn't be in the NFL. Most of the guys I listed also have better QBR's as well as passer ratings. Another reason I move him out of the Top 10 - at least five of the guys I listed are so talented they can make up for a lot of roster deficiencies, and I definitely think some of their teams aren't making it to the playoffs without them. I just don't know if Russell Wilson is in that same conversation, personally. All of those QBs named have better #2 target options than Wilson has ever had #1, except maybe Flacco, a team that has won with defense carrying them to a SB win. 32 out of 32 on passing attempts hinders stats and opportunities to shine for RW3. I can't completely argue against you and I somewhat accept what you're getting at, mostly due to the opinion I don't think he deserves highest paid QB money yet, he has benefitted from one of the best rushing offenses as well as the best 3 year stretch of total defense since the 69-71/72 Vikings. All of the games Hawks have lost have been high scoring games...24+ plus points scored against. He needs to start winning some games when his defense can't up. I also think Bevell is somewhat of an idiot too, ie passing on the goal line with the best RB in the league. And I accidently ommitted Luck in my earlier post, only Rodgers and Luck would be two QBs I'd take over him. Ryan cannot win a big game. Romo is also anti clutch. The rest of the list are aging veterans. Not a big fan of his, but when healthy I feel $Cam could be listed up there too.
  10. I remember being at the PSU game...3 years ago at home, that controversial fumble right on the goal line he forced. He had no idea where to line up pre snap and his teammates were getting him in position practically as the ball was snapped but he managed to knife through and make that big play. He was only a RS Frosh that year and thought man he could be a playmaker but he sure doesn't exactly know what he's doing out there. Kinda 50/50 on impact of losing him, hope it was a mutual parting.
  11. To improve his numbers to the magical 60% we are only talking about 2 more completions a game if he throws at the same rate as last year. That is it. Those two completions extend a drive and increase his attempts/%'s or score a TD. It just means making better decisions on reads/coverages, being in tune with his WR corp, and doing the small things like hitting a check down. One other aspect of his passing game I see which is inconsistent is his touch. Those floaters over the top that allow his target, who has his man beat, to run under and catch.
  12. Sooo has a canon of an arm but can't read coverage and is so arrogant he completes more interceptions to Richard Sherman than completions to his intended target? (Sorry, got a little carried away)
  13. I can see his numbers improving based off of more discipline/expectations that Langsdorf will put on Tommy. Also, if the offense can become more efficient, less dud games and 3 and outs, those stats/attempts will improve organically.
  14. As a reminder, it wasn't too long ago when some were shrugging their shoulders at the commitment! Oregon is no slouch. It's good for him to take a visit though and as many as he needs to explore all his options. It's what any of us would (or should) do. Really hope the Huskers get to hold onto him, though. If not, I'm sure contingency plans this year and next are in place. Not every recruit or even commit is going to end up on the team, and that's a fact everyone deals with. Exactly. I like our chances though, especially at QB where early playing time isn't out of the question the next couple recruiting classes.
  15. I like that others are sniffing around too. He wouldn't be worth a darn if he was left alone. I want him bad. He committed first and is probably seeing his position rival get this recruiting coverage with elite 11, let that chip on his shoulder grow and kick up the heat of competition when they get on campus.
  16. Frost internally fist pumped when he left that visit.
  17. A long way before anyone sees him in Memorial Stadium.According to today's local paper, he's planning on taking multiple visits based on who offers him in the next few years......(can't blame him) Yeah I posted that and thought to myself, a little hasty on being a husker, but really, if he's not...ouch.
  18. I'm excited for this kid, and I hate saying this, but I hope this in-state celebrity status that has begun doesn't interfere with him enjoying his playing career. Lot of coverage and now expectations with the "could he be youngest in-state offer" etc etc, don't want to see backlash if it doesn't go the way the picture is being painting. I'm optimistic about him and his potential and can't wait to see him in memorial weekend on husker game day.
  19. Most interesting to me are the people he tagged. Get him Coach Bray!
