  1. A guy would only do this if he had no confidence in himself; if he thought this season was his peak. You're the one who thinks that. I think Miles believes in himself.
  2. You have a good coach, you went 13-5 in the Big Ten last year, you came into the game ranked, and you lost on the road to a pretty good B10 team. Fire coach Miles! There might be a tiny bit of overreacting going on here. Still, what do I know? I'm just a Minnesota guy.
  3. Fair enough, but Moore caught 29 more passes than Johnson in order to gain 52 more yards. And I didn't realize he had caught two TDs this week to surpass Johnson in that category. Still, all his panache on the field doesn't seem to make Moore much more productive on the stat sheet.
  4. You make an interesting distinction there. I'll say this for Moore - he makes some really bananas, video game-looking plays out there. On the other hand, he doesn't put up the best numbers in the league, and it's all about production. They don't give style points for how you matriculate down the field.
  5. It was largely our defense. The offense did a few things well, but the defense kept getting them the ball in advantageous positions. Can't forget special teams, too, as Demetrius Douglas made a nice punt return for TD. For only the second time all year, the Gophers were hitting on all cylinders today - the Purdue game being the other time. I think it'll be a three-way race for the division title in 2019 - Nebraska, Northwestern, and Minnesota. How about that! Lastly, the best WR in the B1G is Tyler Johnson and JD Spielman is #2. It'll be fun to see how that shakes out next season.
  6. Best high school football game I ever saw, and I watched every minute. Extremely talented players giving maximum effort on every play. Both coaches should be proud.
  7. I'm watching Benhart right now in the Class 6A Prep Bowl, Lakeville North against Eden Prairie. I don't know much about playing the line, but I can see he's as big as a house, and the Lakeville line is an effective unit.
  8. I think you got this backwards. Las Vegas is okay to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. West Lafayette would be a nice place to live, but I wouldn't take a vacation there.
  9. So the Nebraska fans are picking a QB to beat up a Linebacker. That reveals a lot about how Nebraska has changed since Grandpa Tom retired. This Gopher fan is going with Fitz all the way.

  11. Any relation to Bo Snerdly? At first I thought maybe you were kin to Mortimer Snerd.
  12. Where do I vote "no" on the blind quarterback?
  13. Is your name supposed to be Mr. Snerdly or Mrs. Nerdly?
  14. If you're thinking that's the kind of performance that gets the opposing DC fired, you're right.
  15. We lost it. Make another new one and we'll let you keep it until this time next year.
  16. I'm not convinced of that, never have been. I like some things that he does, but I don't see high-level football coaching going on. I think he's a heck of a life coach, though.
  17. All trash talking aside, congratulations on the win. It's a good day and a good game for coach Frost. No doubt the first of many!
  18. I'm gonna get in on this, you bet I am. Even though I'm not a Husker fan. Dom Jones (Minnesota) annihilates Ray Small of Ohio State. Honorable mention: Tai'yon Devers explodes the Oregon State QB in 2016.
