    Honest question..Does he hit holes in practice and just get afraid in games or what?This drives me nuts too. Newby leaves yards on the field. He isn't patient enough and tries to bounce it outside a lot. And for a smaller back, he doesn't have a ton of speed.

      IDK, Loyalty and relationships are a two way street. We may not like the loyalty that Riley has for some of his assistants but they probably like him as a boss so it might take an exceptional opportunity for Bray to want to leave.

    Fire Banker, Read (pointless anyway), and Stewart. Demote Langsdorf to full time QB coach taking Read's spot on the staff and hire an elite OC with a run first mindset. However, bottom line is Riley needs more time.

    If Minnesota throws well on us we might as well just pack up the year. Seriously. We're average athletically, just horribly inefficient against the pass because we sell out to stop the run and leave our corners on an island and the safetys can't cover ground quick enough and we get burned.

      Big fan of Newby's versatility compared to where Rose is mainly just a run stopper.

      Also I like that Newby is a lot faster. And I think Mike may have lost a step after his surgery. Still think he's a lot more natural MLB as well.
