  1. When putting together a list of coaches, I think you have to look at what ties Shawn Eichorst has to various coaches. I don't know his history or associations, but it is quite possible that his shortlist would be people that he is familiar with or come highly recommended from people he is familiar with.
  2. There were some adjustments on coverages. At least a few times when the RB went in motion, the DBs would change coverage versus a LB vacating the center of the field to cover them like we did with Wyoming.
  3. The game will be streamed via BTN2Go.com. You will be able to watch it if you video provider participates.0
  4. Did you notice Jamal Turner blocking? JT was just as impressive as Imani.
  5. I had two games last year that I needed to listen to via streaming on my phone and it wasn't easy. This information applied last year, but probably applies this year also. Nebraska has contracted with NeuLion for internet presence, which includes streaming of the games online. NeuLion owns all internet streaming rights and they can block anyone else from streaming the game online. Any radio station that broadcasts the game over the air, does not have the right to stream it over the internet and will play different content over the internet during the game. You may be able to find a small station who accidentally streams it over the internet for an early game. I used TuneIn last year to find the Lexington station that was streaming an early game. But I imagine that NeuLion was checking up on the affiliates and let them know that they weren't supposed to do that because in later games I could not find anyone of the affiliates who was streaming the game on the internet. NeuLion does have a Nebraska app that allows you to receive the game, but to me it seemed kind of expensive. Although I don't remember the price. They had it for android at least, but I would think that they have one for the iPhone also. The app didn't let you access the premium video feeds, unless you subscribed to those also. If you access the huskers.com website with a default phone browser, they will block the game streams and point you to buying the app. What I ended up doing was changing the User Agent on my phones web browser from android to desktop. I then accessed the huskers.com website and it would think that I was a computer and provide the full huskers.com website. The way they laid out the desktop website is not very friendly and is hard to navigate on the phone, but I could get to the game streaming page and bring up the game and stream it to my phone. To make it easier to get to the list of games, I think that I bookmarked the page on my PC and then shared it with my phone so I could go directly to it. Changing the User Agent in the last couple releases of Android is real easy and is selected under the Advanced Option menu in the browser. With older versions of Android I think you need to load Firefox, Chrome, Dolphin or other alternate browser and then there were plugins that would allow you to change it. I don't know how to do it on an iPhone. The only drawback I had doing this was, the player window had to be kept active to receive the stream. You could not do anything else with the phone. I could turn off the screen and walk around with it fine. But if I used another app the stream would stop. But this wasn't a big deal for me. Streaming it this way also ate up a lot of battery. I would suggest you try this with other live content available on huskers.com before Saturday to work out any issues. The other option may be to find a stream from our opponent and see if you can listen to their internet stream either through their website or through iHeartRadio or TuneIn. I did this for one game last year. But if the opponent’s school has contracted with NeuLion you will have the same issue. Does SiriusXM broadcast the Nebraska games? I am not sure if they do, but if you have a contract with them you can stream their stations to your phone. But I don't know if this also applies to live games. TL:DR - It is hard to get live NU games on your phone because of the contract Nebraska has with NeuLion.
  6. Say what you want about UK's football tradition but we've been in the top 25 in football attendance 10 of the previous 12 seasons. The BBN has supported a losing program for many years and have done so in large numbers. The pick above was from last year after the fans finally said enough is enough and boycotted the games. That pic is very misleading and certainly not what a typical fall Saturday looks like in Lexington KY! After 2012's boycott Joker was immediately fired and the athletic administration finally approved a 200 million dollar renovation of Commonwealth Stadium. We love basketball but folks here are absolutely starving for a top notch football program as evidenced by over 51 thousand showing up for the spring game this past Saturday. That's right....51K for a practice....2nd best in the country. I believe you guys had the most with 60K but Bama has yet to take the field. UK 2013 strength of schedule is ranked #1, we play in the SEC and we have a huge rabid fan base. Simply put..... we are a sleeping giant! Get your popcorn ready cause there's gonna be a show! http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/ Wasn't there a story a few weeks ago about Kentucky inflating the attendance numbers for their home games? Why would a school administration do this? Eveybody know that SEC schools will basically skirt the rules to give them an advantage. If Kentucky is so desperate for a football program, I wonder what the school administration is willing to do to get it. They have already shown that they don't have much integrity. _____ http://www.courier-j...?nclick_check=1 The University of Kentucky athletic department has found a creative way around providing actual attendance figures for home football games. It stopped recording it. ... Through six home games, the average number of tickets scanned was 32,915. That's an average difference of 17,266 per game from the announced ... _____
  7. I hope we get a new company to install the turf since we went a dismal 70-36 on this turf and it's obviously their fault 106 games have been played on this turf? I don't believe so. (45-12 I think is closer) Yep. We've played 57 games on this turf, lost 12 of them. Amazing that this stuff lasts for less than 75 games. With eight home games played this year, plus Spring Games, that'll be 73 total games from installation to removal. You can add in your wear-and-tear from stuff like scrimmage, opponent walk-throughs, Fan Day, Band practice, etc... but still, that seems not-so-durable. I think being in the weather 24/7 has a bigger impact on the life than playing on it. I read an article at one time that said that field turf inside a dome lasts 2-5 years longer than if it was outside.
  8. If there are bad feelings towards Vince Marrow by the staff, does Mike Marrow get put in the doghouse?
  9. Are there going to be seats below the bottom railing?
  10. Josh Mitchell came back in the game after he was injured. But I did see a shot of him later, where after he made a tackle, he was holding his shoulder a little.
  11. This rule has been in the college game for several years. If a receiver goes to the ground while making a catch, the receiver must maintain control of the ball through the entire process. If the ball comes loose, it is an incomplete pass. This rule was put in place for just these types of circumstances and this same call is made many times every Saturday. There is no reason to review that play when it was clearly incomplete by rule. The rule book gives several examples. This one is probable applies most to the Enunwa incomplete pass: Completed Pass—ARTICLE 6 Approved Ruling 7-3-6 IX. Airborne receiver A85 grasps a forward pass and in the process of going to the ground, first contacts the ground with his left foot as he falls to the ground inbounds. Immediately upon A85 hitting the ground, the ball comes loose and touches the ground. RULING: Incomplete pass. An airborne receiver must maintain control of the ball while going to the ground in the process of completing a catch. You can download the rule book here.

On Seisay's pass interference call, he did grab the receivers jersey and probably affected his progress. If the ref see's that, they are going to call pass interference every time. All the other calls in the list were called correctly or reviewed and corrected.
