  1. The idea of the SEC beating each other up is nice because it seems like they always have 4 to 6 teams in the top 10 at any given time, and a round robin of those teams would be brutal. Yet the top teams in conference rarely actually play each other. Alabama only has two ranked teams on their whole schedule. I would say that SEC conference schedules are not any more of a gauntlet than any other conference.
  2. I know T-Mart had that bruised shoulder and everything, but we should be able to score more than 3 points.
  3. I just heard that Bo has lost EVERY game in which the opponent has outscored the Huskers. He's like 0-20 in those games. Can someone confirm this?
  4. They just need to execute. Don't point the finger, point the thumb.
  5. He would have twisted his whole leg off and still scored. May have had to sit out a game to let himself heal though. It's just a flesh wound.
  6. He should have drawn an unsportsmanlike conduct flag for that gratuitous second spin.
  7. Sometimes when that wake-up call comes, it's still too easy to hit the snooze button and roll over. The wake-up call is one thing, getting the f%#K out of bed and putting on your pants is quite another.
  8. Pretty sharp Looks like somebody's obnoxious custom bowling ball.
  9. I don't really see a ton of sexy matchups on the college football calendars over the next few weeks, so any major movement in the polls are going to have to come as a result of big upsets for the most part, imo. NU just has to avoid being on the wrong end of one of those upsets, and now with UCLA and NW ranked ahead of us, there will be plenty of opportunities to move back up again if we can get our $h!t together.
  10. Last season included a lot of really close games and 10 wins. It was a lot of fun. I know there are differences between coming from behind to win a close one versus pissing away a lead and holding on against a meidocre team, but even so, if every game goes the exact same way and we end up victorious at the end, I'll be tickled f#ck!ng pink. I think most of us would be able to look back on what a thrilling season it was, once again.
  11. Yeah, you guys would never lose to a 6 or 7 win team like Northwestern, Iowa State or CU. Just in case you guys don't remember, Wyoming is right next door. A lot of us are kind of familiar with Neb and their history. Those are all BCS schools. How does that pertain to Wyoming? Yeah, we only play pee-on schools the past 10 years like Boise St, Utah, BYU and TCU How'd those games turn out for ya?
  12. Maybe it's the resolution on my computer screen, but is that flash of leg under the dress rather thick and hairy? Perhaps that is rally just Mickey Rourke in a dress and wig. The first picture looks like Gozer.
  13. I haven't wanted to put a quarterback in the Graveyard so bad since Blaine Gabbert. You sir, are a bonified ass. Wishing injury on anyone is the lowest sort of scumbaggery there is. How about we play the game, no injuries and we continue on with our respective seasons? A win by either team will not change world history in one iota, it's just a damn football game. To suggest that your team hurt someone on my team only because we Wyoming fans are not taking all your arrogant sh#t is despicable. Go get an f'n life dirt bag. Nope, nope, nope. Landlord's "Quarterback Graveyard" is simply a list of quarterbacks who've had statistically poor games against Bo's defense. It has nothing at all to do with injuries. OK, if you say so. The statement on its face is inflamatory, no? This is assuming that injuries automatically mean someone goes to a graveyard, if you took Landlord's post literally. We're not talking about horses here. We have medical care for injured humans and can usually avoid graveyards for football injuries. Maybe they do things differently in Wyoming.
  14. Unless I am reading some of the comments wrong, a lot of the Wyoming faithful are talking up Smith's talents to the effect that he and Wyoming will somehow shock Nebraska on Saturday (or at least keep it close). But will all his talents and good numbers last year, Wyoming didn't shock a single damn team. Good quarterback or not, he simply does not lead his team to victory. What I'm saying is, there has been a lot of talk on this board about Brett Smith and whether or not he is good, but actually it doesn't matter, there is nothing to indicate that Saturday will be anything other than a blowout in NU's favor, although Smith may or may not put up decent numbers. So does it really matter how good anyone thinks he is? It's a bloodbath either way!
  15. I joined, but am likely to forget to keep checking it every week. Is this going to get a weekly bump? Thanks for setting this up!
  16. I wonder how the whole bribery/payment system works, as in how much money is being thrown around (or at least offered), how it is being delivered, and what measures are taken by a school (or booster) to cover it up when it happens. I mean, people who are accepting payment might not have all that much honor to begin with, so how can the payer trust that it will be kept secret in most cases, knowing what kind of scandal it can cause? Or do they really not worry about it at all, knowing the lack of balls that the NCAA tends to display? Is there an underground mafia sponsored by specific universities for this sort of thing? Does it come from slush funds from the coaches/AD themselves? Does it just come from loose-cannon boosters? The whole process is fascinating. It also makes me not worry about championships too much at Nebraska. With the amount of cheating that is surely going on, I'd rather cleanly go 10-4 every year and occasionally contend for titles than win a dirty championship and be embarrassed by scandal.
  17. I miss football so much I watched the whole stupid video. I'm re-ordering cable Wednesday. Hopefully I'll get it on time for the game... I finally decided to start watching this video to see how good this kid is. He threw quite a few good balls and had some good moves against Boise in these "highlights." I assumed during that first drive that Wyoming must have scored a lot of points in this game. 14 points?!?! Is that what the kind of production Wyoming fan wants us to be afraid of?
