  1. Has anyone ever made the drive from Lincoln to Omaha immediately after a game?  I'm trying to catch a 6:15pm flight out of Eppley driving directly from the stadium on the 12:00pm kickoff for the OSU game.

I have frequently done this as a student going home for the weekend. My family lives in West O (132nd-ish between Blondo and Maple) and the drive there after a game is at least an hour. I'd say this would be dangerous.

My guess is if you leave Lincoln at 4 you would get to Eppley at 5:15 or 5:30.

Yeah, you'd really be cutting it close unless you left the game a little early.  An 11am game, if it goes four hours, would get you out of the stadium at 3pm.  You'd have to walk to your car & get out of the downtown area, and that'll take you a long time.

DO NOT PARK IN THE NORTH BOTTOMS.  The 10th Street bridge is out, and you can only get out of there via 14th Street.  That will be full with crazy traffic, and you don't want to go that way.

You could try an alternative route, but I've never done it so I don't know how much traffic there'd be. But if you went north on HWY 77 to Wahoo, that's four lanes/65mph ( ;) ), then go east from Wahoo to HWY 275, north to Dodge, East to 680, 680 to Abbott Drive, then you're at the airport.

Google maps says that's 90 minutes, but it would skip some traffic & offer you 4 lanes most of the way.
