  1. It's honestly quite laughable that you're using this as an argument to say that Nebraska-Omaha is better than Nebraska. If we both played similar opponents and they completely outplayed that team and we lost, that'd be a valid argument, but RPI is not a concrete understanding of which team is better. If this is a rebuilding year, what was last year? How many rebuilding years can you have? If you'd like to bash on a team that includes SEVEN first year players who previously had no experience, that's fine. But, anyone calling for Tim Miles' head either doesn't remember where this program was before he came to Lincoln or demands national championships to form in 5 years. It's absolutely ludicrous to think that the program has regressed.
  2. Last three predictions on 247 were for Nebraska and by non-Nebraska writers. However, the last one was over a month ago. So not sure how much those mean anymore.
  3. Visiting on the 22nd. Gonna be a real important weekend. Edit: Whoops, didn't see your post, Warrior10. My apologies.
  4. These half jersey pictures are popping up everywhere.. Calabasas kids seem to like them though.
  5. One would assume since Chris Ball was the ASU safeties coach. Yea, I would guess so. None of the major recruiting sites list his main recruiters. Only reason I asked.
  6. Is that the same coach who is recruiting Lamar Jackson? Because that could definitely help us with him too, if thats the case.
  7. I haven't see anywhere that Lamar would play anywhere but Safety Lamar is a very very versatile player in my opinion. I believe he could honestly play any of the defensive back positions and excel. But, as Mavric said, I believe we would like him as a corner.
  8. Minnesota and Michigan probably have a better engineering program than we do if you count all the departments. We definitely have our strengths, such as mechanical. But, Minnesota and Michigan are very very good engineering schools. Don't think that rules us out necessarily however. Just speaking from experience as I'm currently in the ME program at UNL and considered all three universities.
  9. They were a couple plays away from making the CFP. I don't see how that makes us level with them in any respect. Lets not pretend that they were much better than us. Unfortunately the teams that represented us in the CFP were duds. I agree that they were not much better than us when we played, but they had a historical season regardless and made the Rose Bowl, while we went 6-7. I just don't think we're in a place to talk about our relevance currently is all. Not trying to bag on our program or anything of the sort, just think that we have a long way to go.

  11. That and someone who could develop a quarterback down there. No kidding! Them and Bama...do they even make the QB's practice? Bama doesn't even need a quarterback. They just need someone to give it to Henry every play. He doesn't go down easy.
  12. Sadly, I don't think that he qualifies for any of these standards.
  13. Sean Callahan ‏@Sean_Callahan 17s ago Maliek Collins: "This is my final season at Nebraska."
  14. I wouldn't think so since he played in 5 of our 12 regular season games. I think the cut off for a medical redshirt is 30% of contests or 3 games, whichever is greater. So I don't see him being eligible. Source: http://www.athleticscholarships.net/2012/07/17/how-get-medical-redshirt.htm Medical Hardship RequirementsTo be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria: The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school. The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury. The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season. The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.
  15. Seems that Lamar Jackson is at Nebraska's first bowl practice today. Nate Clouse ‏@NateClouse 4m4 minutes ago A key #Nebraska #Rivals100 target is taking in #Huskers bowl practice today. Details: ($) http://bit.ly/1TfIbXC
  16. That's obviously the point of it, and that should be something that is encouraged. If recruits pay more attention to Nebraska because they think the new uniforms are cool, then that should be encouraged. It gives more recruits a reason to look at us which is something we desperately need given our location.
  17. It's pretty enticing for a kid to be headed to a team that just won the National Championship instead of coming to a team that just hired a new coach.
  18. I think they would be absolutely mad to even consider that. I don't think any program has been as steady as his the last 10 or so years. This year's obviously an exception, but I expect to see them top of the Big 12 again next year.
  19. Visiting mizzou should reaffirm the NU decision. They do have one of the most respected Defensive Line coaches in the country however. That's a point in Mizzou's favor. For all we know he is about to be a most respected DL coach at Nebraska That's funny of you, I actually am pretty decent friends with Craig Kuligowski, he's not coming here You aren't biased in your opinions then haha Well he was named Defensive Line Coach of the Year by football scoop, despite my bias..

  22. I think it's completely logical for the players to want to win this for Bo. His staff is still on board for this game, makes sense that they would want to win for him and his staff one last time. Let them have their closure and stop making scenes out of nothing Husker Nation. GBR.

    1. True2tRA

      True2tRA

Yea it's normal. They loved the guy. I hope they are able to move forward after this game.

  23. Dont forget about the big bodied Tariq Allen being able to stretch vertically. I'm really excited to see how Reilly, Gladney, and Moore mature over the off season as well.
