  1. There is a product called Flitz that is a paste with something in it that is abrasive. Works well to remove surface rust, but then need to keep oiled. Scheels sells it for sure. I like CLP (cleaner, lubricant, and protector) afterwards, also sold at Scheels.
  2. That is like Viagra... I had to call the doctor about erections lasting more than 4 hours!!! Nicely done!
  3. Josh Helmholdt ‏@JoshHelmholdt1m New #Huskers OL offeree Michael Decker was a standout at last spring's @RivalsCamp in STL http://yhoo.it/1asW3tX Omaha north standout, probably the top prospect in the state for 2015. Om
  4. Not sure if it has already been brought up today, but after listening to Sharp and Benning this morning I have to agree with some of the things they talked about. One of the things that they brought up was that with some of the instability and unknown of Bo's status after 2014, that it would be hard to bring in top coaching talent to Nebraska. Not that its not a desirable place to coach but the uncertainty has to be considered by potential coaching candidates. These guys have to look out for number one and their families, can't really say I would blame a highly sought after coach. If it were up to most people on this board it is like signing a one year contract only, as most are calling for Bo's head each and every year.
  5. Nate Clouse ‏@NateClouse3m Multiple sources telling @HuskerOnline that #Huskers rFr. RB King Frazier will be transferring to North Dakota State.
  6. That would be epic! Can recruit like a mother, I loved the idea of him as the DC,a couple years back.
  7. They were just talking on the 1620 Roundtable that a large number of the players that Nebraska had back in the 90's would not be eligible today. They listed about 15 guys that would not have qualified and they were solid to great players. Due to partial qualifying and Prop 48. They also said that a lot of these guys have to go the JUCO route and a reason why Bo and Co, might be going heavy on the JUCO's right now.
  8. Would be a perfect get if we can't lock up Flowers, not sure we would take both. Love the fact he is a safety as well. Give him a shot at QB and always have him playing safety as a backup plan!
  9. For the love of god.....now our Graduate Assistants are getting hurt??? This is getting re-god damnediculous!
  10. ✨ER_3-SlowMo!!!✨ ‏@ElbertRobinson821m Big red nation where y'all at I need some more followers!!!!! Follow him up. This kid is a beast. Lets help Coach Miles out!
  11. Omaha World heard shows he made the roster. Listed on their Facebook page.
  12. Also playing in the Mountain Point-Bishop Gorman game.
  13. Here is there podcast link about the 1:35 mark....not good! http://stationcaster.com/player_skinned.php?s=111&c=981&f=1568611
  14. Rumors of a player on player fight at a party that got pretty physical. They just talked about it on Sharp and Benning. Doesn't sound good.
  15. How many of you that talk about "commitment" have ever worked at a job you didn't like and secretly went out and pursued another? I know I just did and I didn't run up to my that employer and tell him I was looking else where. Things change and not always for the way we hoped they would! We ourselves have three players ourselves that were committed else where and they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Had Mr. Walker stayed he too would have been talked about in a much different light! I have not figured out how some can talk so glowingly about a recruit (at this point only a verbal) and in the same breath bash a 181 kid in the very same breathe. It makes sad! I too love our program, but by no means wish ill will to any player we recruit regardless if the come to NU or not. For those of you that feel that way you are a disgrace to the program that you allegedly care so much about!!
  16. Because WR is so loaded and the DB crew is not (at least in youg DB's), I'd like to see several WR go over to the DB crew. Moore was a standout HS safety (or corner, can not remember which). So was Tariq Allen. These two, at the least, should switch over to the defense where we are in desperate need of athletes. With the RB position stacked too... take a young one and move them to the defense as well. I hate to see positions w/o great athletes and then other positions with so many athletes that great athletes never see the field being buried in the depth charts. Spread that speed and athleticism over as many positions as possible. We do have quite a bit of talent in the defensive backfield as well. Green, Jean-Baptiste, Evans, Rose, Mitchell, Jackson, Cooper. I realize that there is little experience at safety but I would think defensively, that DB is the least of our concerns. It is interesting to me how there seems to be more talk growing of us moving to 3-4. I have no inside sources but seems that more people have brought this up in the last 2-3 wks. Is this just talk or is there a possibility of the change? I completely disagree that DB is the least of our concers, paricularly at CB, for the remainder of this recruiting class. In fact, I believe CB ought to be one of the top, if not THE top priority as we close out this year's recruiting cycle. Of the depth you mentioned above, every pure CB prospect except for Mitchell graduates after this next season. The coaches have been talking about Jackson possibly being a safety, and unless I'm mistaken, I think it's an open question as to whether Rose will be a safety or CB. I'd like to see enough depth at CB that the coaches can put Rose and Jackson at whatever position they will best thrive in rather than having their hands forced by depth issues. Safety is a whole other animal. We are already losing all of our most experienced players this year, but we are much deeper in unproven/semi-proven young player with potentially high upside (Cooper, Walker, Alexander, McWilson, Gerry, Singleton, maybe Rose, maybe Jackson). Considering we often play at least three CBs at a time in passing situations, and we don't even have three known scholarship players at CB come 2014 and none yet in this recruiting class, I don't know how it could be considered " the least of out worries." As far as moving some WR to CB, I'm all for it. I don't like the idea of coaches recruiting a player at one position, then telling them they have to switch once they are here. I'd like to see the moves be voluntary, allowing the free market to work its magic. If a WR doesn't see a whole lot of PT in their future and wants to move to a position with less depth, let them. PJ Smith was on 1620 the Zone today and said that Charles Jackson is indeed a safety and might just be the best safety we have had since PJ has been a Husker.
  17. For every one talking about Q at tight end. I think this settles it! Robin Washut ‏@RobinWashut Quincy Enunwa on potentially moving to tight end: "I'm not moving to tight end."
  18. Nate Clouse ‏@NateClouse Brantford (Ont.) OT David Knevel has committed to #Nebraska over#Bama & #WVU at his press conference today. #Huskers
  19. AllCanadaGridiron ‏@AllCanGridiron Univ coaches tell us they expect D Knevel to announce Nebraska. Either way his decision was not an easy choice, we are sure
  20. I really like the looks of this kid! Sure he plays against lower level talent but he has a great motor and finishes with bad intentions. Looks like one of the bad boys of old. He must be very interested since he is visiting around a wrestling tourney. Would love to have this kid "N". Much greater prospect than Miles appears to be. 2012 Highlights
